I think there are many different issues refered to in this thread but the same issue can look a little different in different skin types and life styles. If you have tiny bumps all over or on part of your face please read this page. Dealing with this issue but most derms are used to acne. They do not know of this or don't think of it until there is a lot of unnecessary scaring. Mine was all over my face, my roommate had larger more severe bumps but it was only on one cheek and spread slower than mine.

I am not sure my bump is the same as yours but I found remedy that's seems to work, my bump is about 1-6mm and red pinkish colour and hurts no head looks like pimples but not
Cause : I think it's because of not enough sleep and stress and dirt or oily
Around that area
Remedy : wash your face clean the area and soak a piece of cloth to hot water and squeeze it and treat the bump with hot cloth and you will immediately see the red bump get smaller and not so swollen

Hi Everyone, came across this while looking at something else. I have these exact same things under my jaw on the left side. Always had them. The doctor says they are a skin condition called "Rosacea". They can be caused by anything really: diet, sensitive skin, weather, stress, excess sweat etc. Unfortunately, there is no cure, but they can be controlled. It's not a nice thing to have to live with, and I also have eczema and psoriasis as well ***this post is edited by

That could be the right answer! Weak immune system could be caused by damaged/sick/failing liver and the liver has a lot to do with your hormones and your tan.

You are not a}one. I have this condition whatever it is...AND I pick at it uncontrollably also! It's terribly embarrassing, painful, itchy & ugly. I have tried for years to have some unerstanding/control on this painful skin disease. Stress is a cause & I get out & do things to lower my stress level but that's not working either. I havve tried all of the above & will try anything! The only luck I have to lesson the picking & scratching is false fingernails. (They're so thick it's almost impossible to pick at them). I know when I was 39 (10 years ag) I had a past experience with MRSA that it's very dangerrous to pick at these awful places. I nearly died almost 1500 miles from home. I was dehydrated, I had a zit the size of Godzilla on my right upper cheek...it swolled so bad I freaked the lady out at the Pilot store we stopped at asking for an immediate care office nearby. She went screaming through store to get the manager saying "it looks like something off Star Wars"! My right eye was swelled shut, the left side of my face was stretched around the right side of my forehead. It was the most painful thing! I remember they didn't even let me sit down they took me stright to a room. They couldn't get a vain so they had to do a central line to my heart. I had two doctors working on me at the same time to save me. I was hospitalized for 7 days. The doctor told me before I left...next time don't wait three days to see a doctor! "Well there's very few places that you can get an 18 wheeler into" I said. He said I nearly died of meningitis! That my infection was so fast acting that it nearly got to my brain! Best advice I can give you is more than I can do myself & that is "DON'T PICK AT THESE BUMPS" see a doctor let the professionals do it right because you could be taking on your own life & you might not be understanding the importance that it could be your life your dealing with here! I am going to try the chapstick...sounds promising. Willl let y'all know! I have been covered on and off foor MANY years. Best wishes let us know if ye find a cure. God Bless

Same here omg finally. I always thought they were 'blind pimples' but nothing worked on them. Ive had them for the last 9 years and my face is so scarred from it now from popping them that i will not go anywhere without makeup. Im am a stress freak! It all makes sense now. Ok heres my experience.
These things didnt help:
-Exfoliating
-Showering more often
-Face creams and washes
-Alcohol on the face
-Popping them (squeezing made them bigga)
-Not wearing makeup
Doing these made no difference but i did find releif finally doing this:
-Aloe Vera gel applied after a shower
-Taking a tablet berrocca (swallow one not the dissolving one) every morning
Thats it! Since taking a berrocca i have had NO bumps. Can this be the fix, i dont know but after 9 years im guessing it is and ive been bump free for 2 weeks solid. It took a week or so but eventually it just stopped it. Im now using bio-oil under my makeup to clear the scars over time for me. My face already looks and feels great.

Hello. I had the same problem on my chin and cheeks area although other parts of my face are absolutely clean and normal. The bumps used to appear under the skin, used to be painful but wouldn't have a head so that I could squeeze it. My GP said it's a hormonal disbalance and recommended I take a primrose oil (1000 mg a day). It's been 2 months I am taking those oil tablets and no bump has ever dared to appear again. You can find the oil in any pharmacy just make sure you take no less than 1000 mg a day. Consulting a doctor before taking it highly recommended as the reasons of bumps may be very individual.

I also started getting this recently, definitely also to do with stress, also with change of weather, in dry times its worse, so need extra moisturizer, I also changed my base, as this made it itch, and aggravated it. I use antibiotics, its in a little bottle with a squeegee on top, a light brown and brown bottle, will go get the name at home, and put this on twice a day, stay away from make up when I can and only use Annique now, which is rich in rooibos, and its going away, just don't scratch, it causes red marks that takes ages to disappear..

I have been getting these red bumps on cheeks and chin that are very sore, but don't come to a head. They started under both ears, and have spread to my chin and neck. I am 59 years old. I have always had very smooth skin. My teenage grandsons tell me that I look like a person who takes illegal drugs. They know Grandma is straight. I have not left the house in over a week because I am embarrassed. -Lenore-
