I know I am posting to an old thread but exactly I am facing the same situation after my laproscopic apendectomy which happened 10days back.

This is happening to me as well. Anyone get any answers? I'm dreading going back to the hospital for this.
At this age is very unlikely that you will die. I think it has to do with the surgery. There are 2 cases: either they damaged a nerve which causes your problem and swelling or your body formed some few adhesions after the surgery, which is quite normal and the pain will be the only problem and probably it will pass after a period.
