Right, so, I got what I assumed to be one of these Sebaceous Cysts come up roughly about 2 days ago on the underside of my shaft, strangely, where one of my Fordyce spots were (But this one was always bigger than the others and was sort of painful). This new cyst was slightly painful, and somewhat stung. Going around various message boards, I put myself down thinking that I'd need to get it surgically removed, but due to me not being 18 yet, I'd have issues getting a doctor to view it without a parent present. I decided to see if I could do something about it. By this, I tried to squeeze it. There was a small yellowish dot as an opening at the tip of the bump, and so after squeezing gently, what I assume to be pus, started to slowly come out of the top. I kept at this for about half an hour to 45 minutes, squeezing, wiping away what came out, and so forth, and, I'm pretty sure it got smaller over time. Eventually, I gave it a small break, then tried again. I felt it being less painful, so I squeezed harder. At that point, a hard bit of an enamel-like seed came out of the opening. Then the hole was less yellow, and more so just like a hole, but the bump was still there. I tried a bit more to see if anything else would come out, but it was just a clear liquid. There's a very very slight sting now, hardly noticeable, but I'm going to leave it for tonight and hope that there's an improvement. I may post an update if I remember, when there's any change.
Been about 4 days. The day after I got out whatever it was from the cyst it already started decreasing in size and redness. Each day after that it got smaller and smaller, the hardness of it eventually became smaller too. By today, it's decreased to smaller than a spot that would appear on my face for example. It's a tad flat, but there's practically no depth to it. No longer painful at all. Success in my opinion, and if it comes back, I'll just do what I did last time.
I’ve just discovered 2 of these cysts at the same time like randomly, I really don’t know why they’ve appeared but it sucks cause I’m trying to f**k pretty soon, I will try to take a sterile syringe like the other lads in this forum though. Wish me luck.
Before you try removing the cyst yourself, read this post! I got rid of Sebaceous Cysts on my penis shaft naturally and effectively. No joke!
I had a couple Sebaceous Cysts on my penis shaft. Stubborn buggers wouldn't go away for months. In the past I had tried squeezing them with mixed results. In fact, later in life, this only made them worse (I've had Cysts on my penis in the past).
I didn't want to go to a doctor for these little insignificant bumps but I also didn't like them being there (kind of embarrassing if a girl's going down on you, etc.. :O).
I came across a few natural remedies, one including Apple Cider Vinegar. And wow, this knocked my socks off. I simply bought some cotton balls and band-aids, then, with the ACV I had on-hand at home, I wet the cotton ball with the vinegar and applied it to my penis. I kept the cotton ball in place with a band-aid (make sure you keep the area clean and dry before you apply the ACV).
After leaving the cotton ball on the affected area for over 24 hours, I checked how things were doing: the Cysts became to change into a dirt-color. Soon after, I was able to gently rub the head of the cyst away with a dry, clean cloth (Like Tea Tree Oil, ACV works like an astringent, which tightens the pores, and in this case, seemed to harden and dry out the sebum in the cyst).
After I was able to rub away the protrusions, I was left with a couple areas of skin that needed to heal, so I applied some Aloe Vera and kept the affected area clean and covered for another several days.
Amazingly, the shaft is looking like the Cysts never existed and the place where there was a big ugly cyst is healing up like new. So before you go and try surgically removing these things yourself, try this! The whole process of applying the vinegar to healing took about 2 weeks. Small price to pay.
