I am 18 years old and was circumcised as a very young child. However, getting into a sex life, the head of my penis has started to exhibit a really weird sensitivity. When it's dry, it's fine, I can do whatever I want to it...but when some type of lube is on it, contact with the head feels extremely unpleasant, almost painful, and it makes my whole body contract in shock. I've been trying for MONTHS to make this go away, but I have had no progress. It's ruined a relationship for me, because when I try to have sex, the intense feeling makes me cum almost instantly...this is only without a condom, though. Does anybody know what I can do to make this feeling go away? For months, I'll put lube on it and try to stimulate it, but the sensitivity never decreases.
:( please help

When you masturbate do you run your fingers over the dry head and how does that feel?

I'm not circ'd but my head always felt like you describe until I got sick of it and decided to desensitize it. When I did that I reasoned that I had to dry it off and rub it while it was dry in order to desensitize it. I figured that because when I was young and us boys got together to masturbate I was totally amazed that the guys who were circ'd could rub their heads with their fingers without having to be scraped off the ceiling afterwards. I figured that was because their heads were always rubbing on their clothing so they got used to it.

It took me several months of dry rubbing to get to the point where it was comfortable and now I prefer it that way. However it does hurt if it's a little damp causing my fingers to pull the skin but not at all if it's wet enough to lubricate it properly.

The only thing I can think of would be for you to dry rub the head when you masturbate if you're not already doing that. If you are, maybe rubbing it a little harder will desensitize it better.
