Hello i have all of the symptoms you just described. I have suffered for years now. It can be so embarrassing at work when i stand up but can hardly understand what a co worker is saying to me because of the faint feeling and swooshing in my head and ears. What is the name of the test?
Have you been checked for POTS syndrome? I have a similar problem. Happens when lying on stacks with head up and also when squatting. Look up POTS and read about it.
How did they test for this? Most doctors just told me that it was literally all in my head....
I have these exact symptoms. It is so painful. It feels like my spinal fluid rushes to my brain or f gets "trapped". This isn't always the case but sometimes if I'm laying on my stomach and raising my head I feel the pressure, my ears feel like I'm underwater and my vision cam get crystal clear them start to go black, that's when I feel like I'm going to pass out. I have to quickly last on my back. But I can get it even when stretching and sometimes after getting out of the car. I'll stand up and the sound around me becomes diminished or fades in and out. Once I had a prism in my left eye. I can go years without it. It's frightening.
Maybe you have PTSD after the car accident.
Exact same thing happened to me with the doctor
I get that too. It's terrible! I have no idea why it happens.
Me too I need to see a dr asap I feel mine is severe
I am 34 and I have this problem as well when I lay on my stomach I get pressure in my head and feel dizzy and it hurts and I do have visual blurriness also when I sleep I have these body jerks and my legs sometimes feel tingly like I have to move them when I'm trying to go to sleep and once I do I will have the full body jerkiness but this is not every night I was just wondering if anybody has the same symptoms or if they may be two different things
I'm a 37 female and I have had this lying on the stomach head up dizziness for as long as I remember I always thought it was weird but done nothing about, well today I had a emotional day I'm in refuge and stuff is not going very well for me, I'm depressed so so depressed I has chronic asthma/eczema hay fever I take all sorts of drugs but I don't think I have ever had a low blood pressure before! So When I lay on my stomach today and just now I had my Hearing was ringing my heart was pounding my eyes went blurry so I just put my head down on the pillow to relief the symptoms but if I fall asleep on my belly sometimes I'm dreaming I'm paralysed from the neck down and can take me ages to turn over now THAT IS SCARY i feel as if I'm awake but my body is not responding when I do finilly turn over my neck is in such pain and I'm scared to death of this happening to me at night or day so I have to sleep on my back ....WHAT THE HELL IS THIS ? I can't cope
Did you ever get an answer for this? Because this sounds exactly like my problem.
Mine is similar, but not exact. When I lay prone, my neck is a little uncomfortable, but it's when I get up that the severe headache and slight dizziness start. It can last for a few minutes or sometimes turns into a fierce migraine. I don't have low blood pressure, in fact just the opposite, HTN, but mostly controlled with meds.
My 7 year old is composing that when she lays on her stomach n lifts up her head she gets a headache.. I'm going to make her a drs appt
I have the same issue and I am a 16 year old female. The only issue I have related to any head issues would be anxiety but I don't see how that can effect it. I'm relieved to see I'm not the only one with this issue as I know nobody else who has it.
26 year old female with 2 children. With my youngest I had a wet tap during the epidural which resulted in a spinal headache. So painful! Ever since I experience head rushes, pressure, loud whoosing sound to my pulse and sometimes vision changes when I bend over, get up to fast, or lay on my stomach with head propped. But it also occurs randomly throughout the day too. It's been going on everyday for over a year. Went to a neurologist and got an MRI which came back normal. After playing phone tag wih the neurologist I just decided to make an appointment instead to talk and found out that person was a resident and no longer there so I have to reschedule as a new patient and wait 4 months! :( while waiting I took it upon myself to see an ENT to see if it was my ears. my hearing is fine and the pressure in my ears came back normal. He said it was all in my head, but I'm know I'm not crazy, there is something wrong. It's gotta do with the spinal fluid I believe. Getting this after a botched epidural is no coincidence. Going back to the neurologist mid November. Wish me luck.
