Hello. I'm the same way!!!! I know by now you should be older. But quick & to the point. Yes I have had & will be experiencing these same symptoms.! & I really felt nothing helped me! I'm 23 now & until I had my 2nd child n 09. I had got an IUD(mirena) which helped a whooooole lot but then I thought what about, like now, when me & my fiance want to have more children. Then will these same menstrual cramps come back?? Which make me scared to not want to gothrough with having the IUD out.! I just wanted to tell you that your're not alone. And so after this other child & before it comes. I want to know what I can take to make the pain go away. NO ONE SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND WHAT WE FEEL WHEN WE'RE GOING THROUGH THIS!

MY SYMPTOMS: EXTREME PAIN, VOMITING, SWEATING W/ FATIQUE & DIARRHEA!!

I'm hoping & praying you get the best medicine or cure for yours & also for myself. I'm glad I'm not the only 1 like this cause just imagine for an 11 yr.old to go through it.! I DID.. I HOPE THIS HELP YOU & SHARE IT TO LET YOUR DR KNOW THERE'S OTHERS IN NEED OF SOME TYPE OF CURE FOR THIS PAIN! THANK U...

I am a 41 and I've feel like I've been in your shoes for at least the last 5-7 yrs. Yesterday was one of the WORST days, it started at 7am, took meds, 800 motrin, at 9AM and vomit that by 10am. I was in the bed ALL Day, tossing and turning. I have been to two Doctors and they all keep saying what Maria is suggesting, Birth control. She told me that it was a hormonal issue, when my ovaries are releasing an egg. I have fainted twice, the vomiting is very new, meaning within the last year. I Don't have any children and I won't go on birth control at this age. I'm going to have to seek other Help because I have had this for a long time and I don't know what to do about it. I wish I could say some thing more I Really just wanted you to know that I literally Feel Your Pain.

B12 some people have regular levels in the blood but genetically can not absord these factors. After genetic testing my daughter has to take B12 injections (hydrocobalimun) every 72 hours. If she misses she ends up suffering. A crude indicator is your MCV rate. If it is high than there is some indication that you may have a B12 absorpion issue or folic acid absorption issue.

I'm having the same problem. Super severe lower abdominal pain. My period has been very irregular. And on the first day for the past couple years I'm in soo much pain. Meds have gradually stopped workin for me. Advil, motrin, tylenol, pamprin, midol, aleve. No effect anymore. I've even taken norco oral. Doesn't help. Heating pads make it worse. The pain makes me lightheaded, nauseous, irritable, hot flashes. I'm only 21. Any advice?! Please and thank you!

Hi, I've found I have the same symptoms as both of you, it's currently 5 am and I've not been able to sleep at all due to vomiting, pain and generally feeling sick, is there anything you can recommend? It keeps on getting worse and has been going on for nearly 2 years now, I need some help with this as I do a lot of physical activity (about 2 hours per day) it is interrupting my training a lot lately as the pain is for about 3 days of my cycle. I'm 15 and my periods are irregular, any help would be amazing, thank you :) xx

wondering if anyone can help?

i m 15 and every month i have my period i m in extreme pain. i ve tried hot water bottles, herbal tablets etc and nothing has worked.i went to the doctors who said it was just unbalanced hormones and gave me some mefanamic acid a really strong painkiller which started working, but over time has took over an hour to work and now i dont know what to do, i ve had scans and blood test that all came back clear but  now i ve looked around and found different information and am confused that i could ave further problems. if anyone could help or give me some advise that would be great, i dont want to keep taking painkillers every month, thanks

To anyone suffering extreme period pain it may be Endometriosis. This causes severe pain, also pain in the pelvis and many other symptoms. In the UK Doctors don't like to diagnose this as they need to do a surgical laparoscopy and the NHS are not keen on spending money so will try and fob you off with birth control pills. After 4 years  I am finally getting a laparoscopy this year to see what is going on. Don't be put off, severe dibilitating pain that doesn't go away with painkillers is not normal. I have suffered 11 years with this and it is not fun. Other causes may be PCOS which is usually accompanied by being overweight, excess hair and acne, this can be diagnosed by hormone tests to see if the male hormones are raised and then an ultrasound scan to see if there are cysts.

You may have endometriosis. There are several treatments for this, other than the Pill. I was diagnosed with it 2 years ago... I have extreme pain on the first day of my period as well as severe symptoms leading up to my period. Definitely check to see if you have endometriosis.

hello

I'm 19 and I have extreme abdominal and back pain in the first 2 days of my period that don't let me do any day activities. I have blurred vision and a couple of times I have fainted and one of those happened in the street while I was going home :S Fortunalety a nice lady offered me a chair to seat , try to relax and her son was a doctor. I also have pain 1 week before periods. All I do is take ibuprofen or cafetin menstrual that relieve the pain but I don't like the idea of pills . So i searched the web for smth else and I saw an android app called living accupressure that helps relieve every pain or symptom. for menstrual cramps you should massage the place between the 3rd and 4th finger of the right foot . It kinda helped me but not as much as I hoped.
