Sharp Pain in Throat

Seem like alot of people having problem with throat. I always have sorethroat which last for about 2 years. In the past 6 months, I suffered from sore throat more serious and often, about twice a month and it always came together with Fever. The pain is hard to describe, feel like a needle is inside my throat. and recently, I always spit flem which contained of Blood which made me start to worry about it. Everytime I was sick, I went to see doctor or doctors and I took alot of antibiotics, painkillers but nothing helped and everytime it lasts for about 1 week and plus. Doctors said that I got weak immune system and do not help me to do any test with my throat. I am so worry about my throat, does anyone of you have the same condition as me? I do not want my life is about taking antibiotics and pain killer . I really hate the feeling of having a painful throat

i have the same thing..its really starting to bother me a whole lot...i cant really swollow w/o the sharp feeling following right behind.it jus startin happenin today at skool while i was eating...idk if i swollowed something or not but this sharp feeling on the left side( in the neck area it seems like) is starting to worry me. drinking water isnt really helpin and eating thick but soft foods isnt working either. do any have any other remedies that i can try out. im going to try and do more research if possible and post it so yall can get better to<3

I have the same problem, how do I tell what it is? I've been drinking water the past few dies and it still hasn't calmed down, it's doing my head in right now, and it's incredibly hard to talk with this tickling/ sharp pain in the right hand side of my throat. Thanks for all contributions xxxx

I have blister like growth at the back of my throat. At first it didn't bother me but I could feel it when I swallowed because it felt like blockage. Now I've got what feels like an ear infection with shooting pains that will not stop unless I take extra strength pain meds. I hope its not cancer. I don't even smoke! I have no medical insurance and have not seen a Dr. Will the symtoms ever stop?

I got the same thing i belive its been around 3 weeks since it started and i feel like something sharp like spikes and i do burp sometimes that helps or i try to clear my throat and i notice that some of you say about your tonsils well in my case i have no tonsils i got them out way back before when i was little so what that heck is this i went to a doctor who is a specialist on the throat ears and mouth he told me not to worry about it. Just to do gargles with water and salt and i asked him tat if by any chance it could be something about AIDS and he told me tat i did not look like anything of that category so i dont know whats going on right now its 2:12 AM and i have this feeling of something sharp in my throat if somebody can give me an answer i would appriciate it alot A.R

most likely strep throat if the symptoms are severe, if not, just an average cold infection. Suggest you go to a doctor and get tested for strep throat (simple test- just cotton swap of the throat and tested at the same time then and there). It is usually treated with amoxycilin and takes about 7-10 days to heal. Occurs through saliva contact with someone infected or there mucus. I have the same thing right now too, going to visit my doc soon :) Strep throat is sometimes serious and can lead to fevers and a few more severe diseases but probably not cancer so it is important you go to the doctor

I have this neck pain so if you get poked hard by pen point object will you die in three days because I have the neck pain it hurts
