( very important ladies please read) I noticed these things too as I get older my discharge has changed dramatically. I’m a black female, 29yrs old  And Jamaican decent, mother of two. I do tend to get BV often; “Bacterial  Vaginosis”  usually after each period every month I experience the strange discharge with some odor. We are usually told by our family doctors not to douche, so what options do we have? So I want to share with you a method I use that is 100% effective! (Unless you have an STD please get checked because this won’t help that).  Soaking in the tub with a 1 cup & 1/2 Epson salt in very warm water as hot as you can take to your liking, let the water get into your vagina you can also use your wash cloth to gently wipe out inside. Or your your fingers soak in that twice a day or twice a week and this will get rid of any odor or toilet paper etc that may accidentally slide up to the back of your cervix after wiping all day. Another method that I find very effective was soaking in apply cider vinegar letting the water get into your vagina as well soaking for 10-20 minutes, these two methods has helped me and also friends and family I have passed on the information too, I’m sure this will work for you as well. And it’s safer than using the chemicals in the stores, getting an antibiotic from the doctor I feel is only necessary if the odor is very high and unsettling. Sometimes you don’t have yeast BV can also cause mild itching and the soaps we use if there is too much perfume in them! Never put soap directly in your vaginas that will cause severe irritation and yeast infections. When your home try washing your vagina after you pee cause our urine contributes to the odor as well. I hope this helps you all. :)
