I ve had this problem for 4 years. I have taken antibiotics for 2 months but havent helped at all. I think the answer is in the page I gave you above. When you ejaculate, if your urerthra doesnt clear entirely from sperm then after a few hours you will have this pain. So next time try this: masturbate WITHOUT lubricant, and when you ejaculate try to get out every sperm drop you can. After you finish ejaculating, squeeze your penis to get out the rest of the sperm that is left inside.
I dont know if this will solve your problem but it surely has helped me (and the person who wrote the post at the page I gave you above)
If I use lubricant and dont squeeze every drop of sperm I can, then after 2-5 hours the pain is unbearable...

Thanks for the links. I read the first one, will have to get to the links at the bottom later tonight. It seems many of the people in that thread were talking about a stinging kind of pain near the tip. Others seemed to be talking about the issues we're discussing in this thread. I'm skeptical whether your advice will help my problem but I will certainly try what you suggested. I don't really see what using lubricant has to do with this problem.

Holy penis cure batman, I think you may be on to something here. Last night I made sure to squeeze out every last drop of semen after the erection died down. I also drank a lot of water and urinated shortly after the ejaculation. Results: No penis pain! And I was also able to get a full erection about three hours later. There was still a general ache throughout the testicles but the penis pain didn't occur. This is pretty incredible. I'll post more later when I have time. Thanks man!

xaxa. yes it works... I told you not to use lubricant because I find it difficult to squeeze every drop of semen from my penis if it is ... "slippery". Of course that depends on each person.
The other thing I have to say to you and other people is that other pains than the one described in this topic can be attributed to prostatitis which can only be cured by antibiotics. So if my advice doesnt work for you then visit a urologist who can give you proper medication.
Also, if your pain in the testicles persists then maybe you should visit a doctor as well. There are kind of pains that may come and go, and maybe they are not anything important, but if they persist then you should visit a doctor

Cheers :-D

I don't think my use of lube affected my ability to use the "toothpaste" method of getting it all out. I've only tried this once so maybe my success was just lucky. It's possible that squeezing all the sperm out isn't what's taking away the pain but that massaging the flaccid penis right afterwards is what is causing the improvement. But, I'm inclined to believe the sperm left inside is the cause. Here are a few reasons:

1. I recall one time recently when I had a lot of pain. I didn't urinate for about 4 hours after having sex that time. My shaft was really bothering me. When I finally did urinate, the pressure and pain in the shaft while I contracted to finish urinating hurt like hell.

2. As I mentioned above, I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night with a painful erection if I have sex right before bed. We all know that men often have spontaneous erections during REM periods. Well I usually urinate right before sex so if I then have sex and go to sleep right after, that sperm just sits in there and then when the REM erection happens a few hours later, ouch.

3. I spent several years practicing certain Tantric techniques before this problem manifested. Basically I would stop stroking right before the "point of no return" and relax all the muscles down there. I would do this over an over and if the timing was just right, I would ejaculate about half the normal amount. A minute or two later I stroke more and then ejaculate the rest. Perhaps my muscle relaxation techniques permanently messed up my ejaculations so that more semen than normal would be left in the shaft. Perhaps other guys with this problem just naturally don't eject all the semen properly.

The guy in the other thread theorizes that the pain is caused by the sperm hardening inside the shaft and that's what causes the pain. I'm not sure about this. It's possible. It's also possible we have some kind of infection and the infected sperm is causing the ache. In any case, thanks again for jumping into this thread and sharing. I've been troubled by this for like 3 years and it's been really hard to find an answer. I hope this technique continues to work. I'll be checking back and posting my progress. I'm sure this thread will help others.

Lots of thanks for your answer! I have had this problem all my life and this could be the solution!! I will try tomorrow this solution!! It helps knowing people with the same problem since urologists don't know any solutions

I believe these Tantric techniques caused the problem for you Zenman. Also, the youngest patients here may have caused the problem by masturbating while sitting on a chair (in front of a pc screen XD ) . The good news is that the solution proposed above works. I dont know if the problem can be "fixed" permanently, but that would probably require surgery which may cause other, more important problems....

I've had this since I can remember, maybe one year after I found masturbation, I'm 21 and my penis gets sore after masturbation or sex, I found that taking paracetamol helps decreasing the pain, usually 1 day is what it takes to repair and get back on normal again. I debate this with my girlfriend sometimes, I don't know if it's because my penis is too thick and it takes a lot of muscle strenght to hold the erection for 1 hour or more or my muscle is weak, STD is out of question as I've been tested and I'm a fit young man who works out a lot.

Well, this was my contribution to this board. Still I got no clue 100% of what's causing it. Well my "penis repair" lasts one day so it doesn't bother me too much.

If the method discussed in this thread doesn't take away all the post ejaculation penis ache, I found an added technique. This is probably only necessary if not only your penis gets sore (or second erection) but also a deeper type of ache happens after sex. Technique: After your penis becomes flaccid again after sex, lay on your back (perhaps side is better?) and try to get the remaining semen out starting at the perineum. Push your fingers down just in front of your anus and while keeping pressure the whole time, slide your fingers all the way to the tip of the penis passing right between the testicles. If you're like me, you'll find that not only does semen get left in the shaft after ejaculation but there is more remaining under the perineum and testicles. I did this tonight and it's definitely helped. I was surprised how much was hiding under there. I also drank a tall glass of water before sex this time and urinated about 30 minutes after sex. I think this helps a lot too.

I just started experiencing this problem within the last week or so. I immediatley became worried. For me, I feel no pain during normal daily activities, no pain when I urininate, and no pain before or during an orgasm. However, immediately after I ejaculate... wham! sore penis. I would also describe it as an inner, all-encompassing soreness, but I do feel it concentrated in my urethra, and mostly from the tip of my penis to about the first 2-3 inches down the shaft. The rest of the pain sort of eminates from there outwards. The pain usually lasts about 10-20 minutes - or usually about the time it takes for my erection to completely subside. I like my orgasms... so I go ahead and have sex or jerk off despite the pain (It's still worth it) I'd say I ejaculate on average about twice a day, and have always done so since puberty. I'm 33 yrs old. Planning to see a doctor ASAP. Hoping to get a referral to see a urologist. Will report back with my diagnosis!

I've had a similar problem. No pain at all during sex, but if I get an erection an hour or so after there's a painful ache deep in the shaft of my penis. This is especially difficult if I fall asleep and can't control whether or not I have an erection. There is very little pain if I have sex in the morning, but right before bed is much worse. I've noticed that it's not a problem to have sex several times in a relatively short interval. Getting aroused brings about the ache, but if I push through, so to speak, it's not an issue...until a few hours later.

I was tested for STDs; the doctor told me I was clean, and had no idea what the problem might be. This is annoying!

Fxp, yea, that was my post in the other forum. I vowed if I ever found something that helped this condition I would sprinkle the internet with the knowledge. After experimenting with this technique the past couple weeks I've found it to make a huge improvement. I would say 80%, sometimes 95%. I now don't avoid ejaculating at night like before. I'm still not sure why it's worse at night than in the morning. I was thinking it could have something to do with how relaxed the muscles are in the morning as opposed to at night after a stressful day. There are theories out there that say prostate issues can be caused by muscle tension in the pelvic/prostate area which cuts off the circulation to the prostate thereby not letting it fight infections properly. I myself have occasional muscle spasms in the area but they are not painful at all. I also find myself carrying tension down there. I'm not saying this condition is prostate related but I definitely think it's possible.

I think the painful erections at night while you sleep will end if you practice this technique and also make sure to urinate after sex before you go to sleep. You'll still get nocturnal erections (everybody does, especially during the REM cycle) but they probably won't be painful and wake you up.

The most important thing to the techniques decribed before, is that during the ejaculation you must try to ejaculate as much sperm as possible. If you do that then when the erection dies out there will be a very little amount of sperm left, that can be easily get rid of, with bowel movement for example. If you wear a condom, make sure to create some space in front of the condom, so that the sperm can easily get out during the ejaculation.
Urination shortly after ejaculation is not necessary (in my opinion)

If you do the above, then the sore feeling and the pain in the penis after the ejaculation will dissapear...
