After the erection has died out, if you "stick" toilet paper up your arse, then some sperm will probably come out.
Also, if you go for a c**p after ejaculation, then a little amount of sperm will come out as well

Hmm, that's probably because it's putting pressure on the prostate. That's why I suggested you start squeezing it out starting on the perineum and then work your way to the tip of the penis. I always find several drops hiding out down there.

It totally works!! the question is why the semen gets struck inside...

Very glad I found this thread, I've been hunting on and off for an answer, or even people that sound like they have the same problem.
I'm in my mid 20's and have had this issue for at least 3 years, the pain/ache doesn't always occur after an ejaculation, but for the most part it does, making me think there has to be some "fix" to the problem, hopefully this "toothpaste" method is it. Another piece I have noticed is that when I'm standing (or walking) the pain seems to also occur, even when flaccid, and it causes the penis to be slightly firmer than usual, then if I sit or lay down the pain subsides until I stand again, or of course, get another erection. Thankfully for me, once I get a nights sleep I'm usually good the next day, maybe a little ache in the morning, though I also experience painful erections in my sleep that often wake me.

I used to be able to ejaculate 2 or 3 times in a row, now I could maybe grit my teeth to try a 2nd, but I know the pain after would just not be worth it.

Hopefully collectively we can collaborate on solutions (never thought I'd say that for a subject concerning penis's), I'll keep checking in, and update on what I find works.

Again I'm quite thankful to have found this thread. (Thanks Zenman1 for spreading it around)

Pepain, let us know if the method helps. It sounds like you have identical symptoms as I do. You mentioned sometimes there is pain afterwards and sometimes not. I've noticed that ejaculations in the mornings are usually fine. But if I have sex in the afternoon or evenings it's much worse. I know that testosterone levels change throughout the day and are generally highest in the mornings. Maybe that has something to do with it. I think I may have also already mentioned in this thread that how relaxed the muscles are in the area and blood flow etc may be responsible for the symptoms changing. And finally, it could be some kind of infection. I don't think doctors know anything about his condition. There's almost no information out there and I've asked several male friends about it and they couldn't relate at all.

I've haven't ejaculated twice in the same day in several years. What a drag. And now that guys your age and even younger are speaking up, it's clear this isn't just about aging. I'm wondering, do you ever feel a sudden sharp pain in the prostate area that disappears as fast as it appears, or muscle spasms down there?

Here are a few meds I've taken in the past. I'm listing these just to see if they match up with anybody else, you never know if this is some weird side effect:

Paxil (SSRI)- Ten years ago, for a couple years
Inderal/Propranolol (beta blocker) - 4 years ago for several months. This was about the time this started.
Ativan/Lorazepam (Benzodiazepine) Been taking this in tiny doses occasionally for the past few years.

Hi everyone,

I am a healthy 24 year old male who has been experiencing exactly the same problem as all of you for about 5 years. The shaft of my penis feels achey about 15 minutes after ejaculation and several hours thereafter, especially the underside, unless I am sitting or lying down. Like others have noted, the penis does not go completely flaccid during this time, as far as I can tell. Getting another erection hurts within those several hours after ejaculation, regardless of whether I am sitting or lying down. Ejaculating the same day will make it hurt.

I have not been on any long-term medication, so the pain cannot be the side effect of medication in my case.

Two urologists performed a prostate exam on me and said my prostate was normal. They seemed to dismiss our because it is easy to cope with: just don't ejaculate more than once per day! But I was able to get a referral to another urologist who was more inquisitive. He performed a urethral cystoscopy and a rectal sonogram. The cystoscopy consisted of a camera inserted through the urethra into the bladder and prostate, and the sonogram provided an ultrasound image of the prostate. The urologist noted that both of my ejaculatory ducts in the prostate were much larger than normal. He said that the ejaculatory ducts normally aren't visible in the sonogram, but mine were large enough to be seen. This was confirmed by the cystoscopy.

But since I can manage the problem by only ejaculating no more than once per day, he suggested no further action.

I hope this helps! Many thanks to whoever organized this thread. I have never come across so many other people in one place with the problem I have.

Yep Jmitch03, it sounds like we have identical symptoms. Interesting about the ejaculatory ducts, thanks for sharing the info. I'm wondering, has this technique of squeezing out all of the semen helped you at all? Remember to start at the perineum. It's annoying how doctors can be like, "oh, just don't ejaculate more than once a day". They've probably been married for ten years and only have sex once a month. They've obviously forgotten what it's like when you first start dating someone.

Speaking of which, on Saturday night I ejaculated twice in one night. I think that's first time I've done that in about 3 or 4 years. I used the technique after the first time and then took pee right after. I didn't even really have to pee but I just made it happen, kind of like when you give a urine sample at the doctors office even though you don't have to go. Anyway, I was able to hard less than two hours later with almost no soreness. Probably a total of four hours after the first time, I had sex again. It took a long to finish and when I finally did the semen didn't shoot out very much, and it seemed quite clear. I used the technique again, and urinated, but still felt a little soreness about an hour later as I was brushing my teeth to go to bed. It was worth it though. :) Luckily I didn't wake up with a painful erection. Phew.

So great news from my end! With the "toothpaste" method I've ejaculated 6 times, at different times in the day, and twice on 2 of those days, and no pain or soreness (a slight soreness after one), and no painful night erections. I'm quite ecstatic with these results and hope others are having the same amount of luck. My suggestion is to do the method 3-5 times after you become flaccid, I think the time there was slight soreness I only did it a couple times, really make sure it's all out . . . kind of wonder if its more of the massage that helps, or if it's actually getting the semen out.

Best of luck to everybody, I know what it's like, and if I learn anything else I'll be sure to update!

Thank you! 21 years old with symptoms like this since I can remember and finally some relief. Just had an erection 15 minutes after I ejaculated and there with very little to no pain!

It seems everyone is leaning towards this being caused by sperm getting left behind in the canal. I'm curious how many of you are "shooters" and how many of you dribble? It would seem that if your ejaculations ooze out, there's a greater chance of having leftover sperm than if everything shoots out. I'm a 27 year old dribbler and I've experienced this since I was about 18.

Hi folks,

Someone asked me if trying to squeeze out every last drop of fluid after ejaculation helps with the discomfort, like many of you have suggested. I haven't noticed much of a difference when trying to do this, but I might be doing it wrong. I'll keep at it.

I am not a "shooter" unless I haven't ejaculated in at least five days, but I experience the same amount of discomfort, as far as I can tell, whether I "shoot" or "ooze."

I'll keep checking this thread, and I'll keep you posted. I cannot express how grateful I am to be able to connect with all of you regarding this problem I thought I was experiencing alone.

After about 4 years of pain after ejaculation, I have finally stumbled upon this message board and found the solution. Yes, squeezing the excess semen out of the shaft works.... it makes sense that this would harden and cause discomfort.

I can't believe that I have finally found the problem to my solution. I have visited multiple doctors and they have all been clueless about what would cause such discomfort.

You have saved me yet another trip to a doctor. You have also saved my sex life.

Thanks for the life-changing tip!

*Whoops-- "solution to my problem," not "problem to my solution."
Thanks again.

I'm 15 and I'm having the same problem from a year or so. If I masturbate for 5 minutes or for 2 hours, then cum, everything is fine, no pain no nothing. But in the next 6-8 hours if I get an erection it hurts a little. If I ejaculate once more then it starts to hurt two times more. Like as if my penis is getting torn apart or something. Haven't seen any doctors about it, nor I have told anyone.
