Sore Penis after Ejaculation

to dumb it down its like the same thing from lifting weights. (muscle fatigue) thats if its sore i wouldnt be worried about it, its like your arm mscles they will get bigger if done repeatedly

I have the pain in the head of my penis it is almost as if my foreskin is constricting my muscle and crushing it i cant tell whether it is the skin that is hurting or the muscle itself, and what does it mean if my penis is curved sort of left and down

I am 20 years old and this happens to me all the time. I get a sore achy pain in my entire penis almost every time after I have and orgasm after having sex with my Fiance. The pain lasts for about an hour and then always goes away. It tends to hurt more if we havent had sex in awhile or if I have a very strong orgasm. I have been trying to find an answer as to why this happens for years.

I hace always had this problem and doctors can't find what causes the problem! If anyone finds what is causing the problem PLEASE post it here. I would be so helpful!!

Like most everyone else on this forum I have the same problem but can't find answers.  Seems to me like it warrants some serious research, or at least a poll of men to see how common it is.  Up until recently I never questioned it--I thought it was nature's way of detering too much sex (otherwise who wouldn't just spend every waking moment having sex?)  

I have had the same symptoms as everyone else who posted here. Im 14 years old. I ejaculated about 4 months ago and again about a month ago and had a pain right afterwards that you guys said was normal. But then I had a sore pain for about a week after that. I looked everywhere and didn't find anything. I ejaculated again about 15 minutes before I found this. I did the ATM and its been about 20 minutes and I have no pain anymore like I would have if I didn't use it. I will see if I have pain tomorrow, but I don't think I will. I have this same problem too. I'm 24 years old and the pain comes after ejaculating. It especially hurts when I have an erection after ejaculating. I have to wait for about a day before I can have sex or masturbate. This problem has been ongoing for 4+ years now and it's very frustrating. I can only have sex once a day and that sucks. It seems to be affecting my libido and relationships as well. I haven't gone to any urologist or anyone like that before nor have I really done anything about it.One of you guys mentioned something about plastics? I do have plastic retainers that I wear occasionally but I don't know if that could be it. It's interesting though and I will look into it.

Someone else mentioned something about not exercising the penis enough which results in the pain. Sounds possible. If so, I might try some exercises and see how it works out. Perhaps it has something to do with what we're eating? Maybe it's a psychological thing. I'm just throwing things out there because I myself have no clue as to what the reason could be behind this pain and I really wish it could go away forever.

The problem lies with friction. If the pain is in the tip of the penis and you're uncircumcised then you're problem is lack of lubrication.  If you use lube then the foreskin will glide over the tip and won't cause irritation. Use lube.

I've come to a conclusion, and the answer to every man in this conversation. I have the same problem. I'm 20 years old and fully functional. Becoming erect after ejaculation is painful for me as well. If i'm lucky i can become erect again after a few hours without the pain being too bad. The answer is, find a woman that accepts it. You can go to a doctor, try all sorts of medication and find that nothing helps. Some guys do not have the problem, well amen to them. But for the ones that do, we have to deal with it. Make the best out of the initial ejaculation, make sure your woman understands they're not dealing with a pornstar, and suck it up.

hey guys, im another one to add to the list, im 26. with me, it doesnt happen all the time. I felt it yesterday after masturbating. But in the previous 6 months or so, whether Ive been with my partner or going solo, it's been fine. Before that, there was a patch of months where it was happening all the time. Ejaculating twice would only make the pain worse. It's like a full on, tight squeezing dull pain. I do agree, that I don't think there is anything, per say, wrong with us. In truth I feel better that there are heaps of guys like us, although I wish it didnt happen at all. I don't think it is some kind of super-new virus that some on here have suggested. 

There has to obviously be some factors to lead to it, I know this as I didn't have it for months. Sometimes I think it could be as simple as dehydration. I know from doctors online and things that if you have an erection for a lenghty amount of time, the tissue in your penis shaft becomes deprived of oxygen. So maybe, something simple like not enough fluids can bring it on. Then I thought maybe its wearing tight boxers, not giving your genitals enough space after ejactulating..it's hard to know, but there has to be some trigger factors for sure..

 

 

Its a fair point, but i don't think thats the problem here. This is a full on throbbing pain guys get in their penis. Its not always contained in the one area i.e. the tip. The penis feels like it's almost numb, like the way you get a dead leg. It's a constant and droning pain

I have this Problem as well, im a little private so i havent gone to the hospital yet, im 17 an ive considdered cince im a teen its cause i "paw" too much but ive stoped for a long period of time to test that theory an it still hurts, i dont know whats rong, it feels like somethings caught in the base of the, well the tube an cant get out, at first it was ok but months went by an it started to hurt badly, i want it gone, i hope i didnt cause this by pawing too much X3...

I'm 20 years old, had this issue for the last few years. I'm uncircumcised and my penis isn't curved at all. I get the pain throughout the shaft a while after ejaculation of any kind (gentle or not) and it lasts between 20 and 40 minutes. Its not an issue if I'm going to sleep afterwards and I never wake up with a painful erection. I don't think I've had much frequent contact with plastics like retainers or bottled water. 

I can still get a second erection, and it is often even harder than the first painless erection. If I choose to push through the pain, it tends to be pretty difficult (if not impossible) to climax. 

I tried squeezing out excess semen before (because it would dribble out later if I didn't) but never as far back as the anus, and it didn't help the pain at all. I've never tried the 'Advanced toothpaste method', so I'll post here again if it helps.

Hi guys like me :), seems that there are a lot of people with the same problem as mine ... i'm 21 years old and i've had the exact same pain for about 3 or 4 years if i can remember correctly, but i never thought it was something unnatural ! Though i remember a point in time where i never had this pain no matter how many times i have an orgasm after ejaculating. The pain comes after the first ejaculation, and if i have an erection after that it would be painful ... and the pain sometimes wakes me up at night several times to find that i'm erected and i have to make myself think of irrelevant things so i can stope the erection to stope the pain, it usually lasts for about 24 hours to completely go away, but the worst part ends around 8 hours. and i don't need to tell you about the pain of having two orgasms in one day !!I'm sure it is important to know that i'm virgin, i never had sex before (religious reasons), it was just masturbation (so you can rule out anything related strictly to sex).And before i end this, there is a very important thing i want to note here which i thought about as a very likely cause, "SOMETIMES I HOLD THE EJACULATION" and if i let go after some time the amount of semen that goes out is far less than what - i could feel - was going to come out ... if i'm not wrong my problem could have started after i started doing this (it is not like it's a usual thing ! but say i do it for some reason on a rate of 2 - 3 times a year).Also probably a useful info is that my rate of masturbation varies ... sometimes 2 times a month and sometimes 1 time every two days ... in average i could say about 5 times a month (about once a week or so).I hope this helps to find the answer for our problem.
