I have a sore throat when I swallow, and vertigo when I go from laying on my back to sitting up straight. My ear was hurting yesterday, but feels fine today. Anyone know what could be wrong?
First off, the information you supplied is insufficient. When did this start and how long has it lasted, is it getting worse and how fast. The vertigo you are experiencing sounds like it's from an infection upsetting your equilibrium, now where this infection is originating from is the question. If I were to stab at it I'd suggest it's either your ear(s) or throat and could be in your sinus area (all these are tied together so it's hard to say without an exam) but really if it lasts longer than 7 days the general rule of thumb suggests "See your doctor" and I say Go see an E.N.T.

"You're lucky if you have a doctor that cares enough to actually find the problem or refer you to the right specialist the first go round." In all my experience if you look healthy, are caucasion and especially male you are pretty much screwed unless you are paying cash in large quantities. Doctors have left me with a BAD taste in my mouth. :-( "BAD DOCTOR! NO DRUG CABINET KEY!" LOL
