I am a 36 years old female who is experiencing soreness/cramp like in the lower abdominal area after masturbation. I am not sure but it feels like in my uterus. I usually use a towel, pillow or my hand when i masturbate and few times a dildo.

Also for few months now i am experiencing a brown discharge about 4-5 days before my period starts and last 1 or 2 days, then my period starts and last for about 7 days. Before it only lasted for 5 days. I have 2 kids and my last one was with c-section almost 4 years ago. I also had my tubes tied at that time. Should i be concern about the cramps after masturbation and the brown discharge few days before i start my period?

Please, let me know.

Thanks,
Lizzie
I've gotten this too, but I don't know what it is. I speculate that maybe if bacteria is forced up into the vagina during masturbation that the vagina attempts to clean itself out. I've also heard that masturbation can jump start menstrual cramps. It might just be the muscular stimulation causes cramps, though I don't know anything or sure. Though I always assumed that the brownish discharge before my periods was dried blood (like blood that dried before it got all the way out). Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Yes it is normal to the brown dried blood it's perfectly normal it's just a sign when your period is close im under 15 just letting u know idk about masturbation :-( sorry try to research :-P

i've had cramps as well, including intense stomach cramps...years ago i had surgery to remove endometriosis (sp?) from my uterus. that caused the lower abdomen cramps, so it's probably back, but the stomach and intestinal cramps are a new concern ... still researching.

I am 22 and experience cramping after masturbation (clitoral), but only when my period is due. At times it has been extremely painful and has sparked off intense cramping. Apparently the clitoris as an organ extends quite far up into the vagina, so I assume that the contractions of orgasm cause some pain afterwards. However it's not always happened and has only been over the last year or so, also I had a termination about 3 years ago.

I'm glad it's not just me!
It seems like its nothing serious, although it can be very painful and annoying!

I was not aware of this problem although a bunch of puzzle pieces are falling into place after I think about some issues I had with an ex-girlfriend. Thanks for your insight! How did you figure this out, by the way?

Hi, I'm 16 and have been having the same problem, like right now for example, well the pain has been coming and going for about 3 years now and when it comes it HURTS! so this time I tried to see what it is turns out it's probably Endometriosis (say "en-doh-mee-tree-OH-sus") is a problem many women have during their childbearing years. It means that a type of tissue that lines your uterus is also growing outside your uterus. This does not always cause symptoms. And it usually is not dangerous. But it can cause pain and other problems.
The clumps of tissue that grow outside your uterus are called implants. They usually grow on the ovaries, the fallopian tubes, the outer wall of the uterus, the intestines, or other organs in the belly. In rare cases, they spread to areas beyond the belly.
How does endometriosis cause problems?
Your uterus is lined with a type of tissue called endometrium (say "en-doh-MEE-tree-um"). It is like a soft nest where a fertilized egg can grow. Each month, your body releases hormones that cause the endometrium to thicken and get ready for an egg. If you get pregnant, the fertilized egg attaches to the endometrium and starts to grow. If you do not get pregnant, the endometrium breaks down, and your body sheds it as blood. This is your menstrual period.
When you have endometriosis, the implants of tissue outside your uterus act just like the tissue lining your uterus. During your menstrual cycle, they get thicker, then break down and bleed. But the implants are outside your uterus, so the blood cannot flow out of your body. The implants can get irritated and painful. Sometimes they form scar tissue or fluid-filled sacs (cysts). Scar tissue may make it hard to get pregnant.

So it turns out a lot of people have the same problem and it's all because were girls! Yey >;)

Why write anything if you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about? Speculations are not useful.

I just masturbated and I am feeling slight abdominal pains. This has never happened before so, I am kind of freaking out. I may have been somewhat rougher than usual (as I haven't masturbated in about a week--due to excess school work--which is weird, because I masturbate at least once or twice a week). I was hungry to shove a dildo inside of me, so maybe that was it? Also, prior to this masturbation session, I had been having vaginal secretions that were white and globby, sort of like my own cum. It is usually a small spot each day. Does anyone know what both problems might be?

Thanks!

I've been experiencing this too, I've been delayed for two months and I assume I'm not pregnant coz I never had sex with anyone, when my period came, it's like a total of spoonful of blood came in one day and just brown discharge only for the rest of the day.  my period lasts 2 days only. then I started masturbating every night still there's no blood coming out, but my abdomen keeps on cramping during and after masturbating. and the cramps lasts for 15mins. Well it's my first time experiencing this. Hope it's not serious.

The cramps after masturbation are normal to me too. . . It happens when you're about 2 weeks from your period or a week from getting it and u masterbate then it feels like u have major cramps and about to get your period but its not. I guess its just our body getting ready for menstruation? Lol that's why I started timing myself and investigating. Conclusion is to try it at home. Masterbate 1 week before ur period and u shall get major cramps.

I have three kids all c section. The last child is one and I also got my tubes tied. When I masturbate, I sometimes feel like my c section is going to bust as well. This isn't just your average cramps. This is burning rating my body is going to pop out orgasm. I can't even enjoy my orgasm because of it. I wonder why.... I feel just like you. Me and husband have sex often. I am very sensitive down there almost anything will give me yeast infection

I'm a female, and I know why this happens. When you orgasm, your uterus contracts and thusly it can occasionally cause cramps. If it's extremely painful, see a doctor. However, normal cramps are nothing to worry about.

Clearly she said shecwas having the same issue. And interjected to explain what may be the cause in order to help others. So why comment if you're just going to be rude ?
