Ok I am embarrassed to say that I am a woman with this problem. I have about 4 on my outter labia and they are quite noticeable as my skin is fair and these are quite dark (purplely-black). It is so embarrassing to have someone go down there!
My GYN was never concerned.
I want to burn them off too but I'm afraid my lady parts may not like the wart remover. I will probably have to do that because I won't be able to really do the hot paper clip on my own. I mean I could but the accuracy may not be there. Anyone interested in helping? Haha
Anyway, I'll try the dr scholls and let you know what happens. Ugh.
I have had this problem for as long as I can remember, even before I was sexually active. Its been something I have had to live with. I have have most of one side of my scotum covered in these ugly things. I did spend a $1000 getting them removed about 5 years ago but it wasnt too long before they came back. It was a painful, expensive and largely pointless procedure. Now I am about to take on some of the advice in this forum and try and finally get these things gone. So I have the numbing cream, the cautery tool and need to get some disinfectant cream for afterwards. Im just so afraid of bleeding afterwards because when I got them lasered off I bled quite significantly and it seeped into the bed.
OK i got up the courage to try this. As expected I started bleeding, so last time I used some of those sanitary pads to wear to stop this but unfortunately i don't have them anymore. I managed to get some of the smaller ones, but one of the bigger ones really bled and are really stubborn. I got so light headed with nerves and was shaking, and I started to think i might be making it worse so I stopped. Still a lot of work to do, but I'll see how this looks when its healed.
Well count me as another sufferer of these damn things. It's good to know I am not alone. They first appeared around age 20 on my shaft, none on the balls, and I had no idea why. I thought maybe it was because of some rough bjs my girlfriend was giving me.
Through the years they never seemed to increase in number, which was great. I even had some lasered off by a dermatologist. That resulted in my penis being swollen for a day or so. I decided not to waste money on that again. So I just dealt with them. I learned what they were actually called and that they were harmless. Occasionally one would bleed but generally they never gave me any issues, physically.
Of course, they are not pleasing to look at and when beginning a new relationship, it's something that has to be explained (which is exactly the position I'm in now, and why I'm at this site). Every girl in the past never had an issue with it, and if they did, obviously not worth the time. But there's still that brief moment when you have to explain what it is, and what it definitely isn't, and that's always a little embarrassing.
When I found this thread with people having success with a home treatment method, I was very interested. The various methods people have used are interesting, like hydrochloric acid, are you serious?? But, if it works, it works. I think the cauterizing method makes the most sense, since you are essentially sealing off the source of the blood leak within the skin.
So anyways I think I'll have to buy a cauterizer and some numbing cream and try it out. Can't wait to snap, crackle and pop my way to a beautiful penis :)
OK guys, I got a soldering iron. It is 30W and heats to 850 degrees, to compensate and allow it to work cooler I used a thin piece of wire and fixed it to the heated tip...
I tried it on about a dozen of different sizes. The patch I chose now looks dull and grayish, the smaller patches disappeared when I touched them. It has a slight sting as you do it, nothing intolerable, odd, but tolerable.
Some that are larger about 1/2 the size of a BB, took two or three touches to get it to become dull and discolored.
Lets see how it goes over the next day or two.
I will let you know. I have about 60 of these things I want gone. I will take what I can get.

Ok, I did this thirteen days ago. So far most of the small ones are pretty much gone. There are a few scabs on the larger ones.
One or two of them bled a day or so after. It was nothing like before. A minute or so and it was over with instead of looking like a murder scene.
The larger ones are smaller, most have lose the crusty feeling. There is a noticeable difference in the way they look and feel.
I will let these finish healing and try again...
So far, it is worth it and I am pleased with the results.
I had about 8 - 10 on the side of my shaft that were small. they are completely gone. All that is left is a few little red blood vessels.
The blood vessels on the others seems to have shrunk quite a bit as well.

I have had my spots on my scrotum for 5 years and there are over 300 of them in total which is a nightmare. I had been to see a dermatologist a couple of years ago to have them all removed which was a total waste of time, all he did was remove a few at a time and i had to wait for another appointment to have a few more removed and so on, but the ones he removed just kept coming back and i actually just gave up. I'm 42 years old, very hygienic and never sleep around, so i don't know why i have dalek balls! I think it's quite sad that there are no real medical help/treatment to solve this issue we're all having, it is more of of an embarrassment than anything else. The Doctor's tells us it's nothing to worry about, but then says keep them dry to prevent any infection and don't over rub them while drying them, so it is a problem???? I want to go abroad next year but worried if they are prone to compression if we get on a plane and will they burst? Luckily i came across this helpful site and the idea of using a solder iron and paperclip method which is ingenious. I have a cheap solder iron i bought for a fiver and a pack of small paperclips which i will use. I just don't know where to start as there are so many to work on, i'm kind of weary about the procedure to be honest. Anyway, thank you for the guy that came up with this idea and all those who helps each other with good advice, i'm going to give it a go as i am tired of putting my life on hold and it's not nice being rejected by women for having these gross spots.
Hey there I've been doing to hydrochloric acid for a good 2 years now. I have to touch them up once every two months now. They do come back however I am not sure if they come back at the same spot. I see them as broken capillaries but instead on face its on the scrotum with blood blisters. It's so depressing not knowing what causes this, but however I tried to do the hot sauter method it works too but mentally it's harder for me. For all the guys and girls you're not alone, it's a working progress. With working together and sharing our knowledge trial and error I have confident that if we can't cure this... At least we can treat it or maintain it something more exceptable.
I really want to thank all of the guys on this forum for the solder iron advice! I'm a girl and had them on my labia .... although they were flat, they were dark and very obvious because I have pale skin and I wax off my pubic hair. I was extremely self-conscious about it.
After reading the entries on here, I bought a pencil-tipped solder iron and some lidocaine cream. Touched the iron VERY quickly to the spots a couple of times each ... just enough to turn each spot white/flesh-coloured. Then, a few hours later, each spot developed a scab that fell off/disappeared within a few days. Now, it's like the spots were never there. I have perfect skin down there!
Honestly, the worst part of it was getting the balls (so to speak) to actually touch the insanely hot solder iron to my delicate parts - my hands were shaking, I was so scared. But once you do it and see that it actually isn't a big deal, it's fine. The one piece advice I will give, though, is that it really, really STINGS if you don't numb the area with lidocaine first.
Again, thanks to everyone on this forum ... you saved me from this super-embarrassing problem. You guys rock!

Had several spots on the shaft of my penis.
Initially used a lighter and a dental pick. Worked ok, then upgraded.
Bought a 35W pencil tipped soldering iron from Amazon. Seems the battery powered may be more convenient if 400deg.
Used Lanocane, an alternative to Lidocaine, which contains 20% Benzocaine. Same class of topical anesthetic. Apply generously, wait 5-10 minutes and wipe off.
Do several "cold runs" (not hot) with the iron to make sure you're getting the spots correctly, slightly angled and just with the tip of the iron. Also helps to test if the anesthetic is working.
Plug it in and give it a go, the minor pain ONLY exists for as long as the iron is touching the skin. The spot will turn flesh colored or lighter, mine turned white-ish. You may or may not hear a pop. I did only with the larger ones.
Might take a couple of days to see results, maybe as early as next day.

looking forward to hearing how it went for you! i have been trying to figure these things out before i go to this step. best of luck
In short, it works. I was really stressed out because I had done this one a Tuesday, and that Friday I was was going to see someone I hadn't seen in a very long time. Someone I had been intimate with, before these things started to appear. Ultimately it took until Friday for the scabs to fall off, and to my delight before we got going.
This has been my experience. I purchased a low temperature reusable cautery pen and a fine one use tip.
I also bought Brulidine antiseptic cream, sterilised gauze, latex gloves, numbing cream and rubbing alcohol.
I trimmed hair back so I could see clearly what I was doing and then washed the area with soap - I decided not to use the alcohol as I became worried the pen could ignite any fumes .
Put on a glove so fingers didn't go numb and applied numbing cream to my balls. 10 minutes later wiped it off with some gauze and put glove on left hand to hold my balls without going numb .
Tried dry run using cold pen then lifted skin away from balls and applied hot pen. Pen has a button to heat up and was releasing the button before applying. Was a sting but not too bad and definitely bearable.
Ended up treating all spots on my balls, about 50 ish, some small with about 10 largish ones.
Added antiseptic cream when finished twice a day for a week.
There was definitely an improvement but not all gone by any measure so decided to leave a month before second treatment to heal up
Just done second treatment. This time waited 30 minutes for cream to work but also made sure I was actually pressing button on each application to get maximum heat. Stinging was a bit more because of this but still bearable given what I'm trying to achieve
Results look fantastic, cant see any red spots, just some swelling where I have treated them. Will apply antiseptic cream over next week but extremely pleased with results so far.
Thanks to all who shared about this technique, looks like it will be a way to keep them under control if they come back by treating once a month, really pleased. Don't expect instant results, give time to heal and try again.
Cautery pen is dead easy to use accurately and would recommend investing in one.
I am so pleased to have found this site and can definitely recommend this technique.
If you are nervous do what I did and take your finger off the button first time round to get used to the sensation when you burn them and that will give you courage to use full burn on next treatment !

I think I am going on about three years since I first tried the soldering iron method. I am happy to report that my Angiokeratoma is under control, and only a couple times a year do I need to touch up some small spots. I have some very small spots still, but not that many and the ones I have are really not noticeable. I am very pleased with the results I have achieved with the soldering iron.
what concentration of HCl did you use?
