I have pretty much had problems with my bowels and stomach all of my life. It seems to be getting worse, the older I get. I have been sent to Rochester Mayo and everything came back inconclusive. I have had colonoscopys, upper and lower endoscopy, fiber therapy, amitzia, levsin and a full body scan after I eat. I recently found out after having my last colonoscopy, that i have an extra 12 inches of colon and my colon is severely twisted in the center. I have maybe if I am lucky, three bowel movements a month. About five minutes after I eat I have horrible stomach cramping, to the point where I can barely breath, and nausea. I have been tested for crohns disease and celiac disease. Another thing that is baffeling is when I have horrible spells my liver enzymes skyrocket and my white blood count goes through the roof. I am 37 years old and have suffered since i was 17. My doctor tried amitzia and levsin. The levsin helped with the stomach problems but the amitzia did not help me at all. I have has my gallbladder removed as well. I am severly tired all of the time and have been experiencing headaches. I really wish they could get to the bottom of this but everyone treats me like I am crazy. I am scheduled to to a gastroentologist at the University of Minnesota. I told them I just want them to open me up. I am beginning to give up hope and wondering if I have to be this way forever. Also, I am compacted with feces and it seems like no matter what I try NOTHING helps....
