I am 29 and recently almost a month been experiencing a a lot of what I have been reading and it sounds like most of you are still unsure what the cause of these symptoms is.....I hope I find out sooner then later!
I was the one that posted this. Just to let everyone know I am doing sooo much better but not fully myself yet. This went on for another year and got worse. I felt like I would never be able to do anything normal again. Between waking up tired and having a daily headache, mucus, stomach pain, skin problems etc. I ended up cutting out gluten and dairy and it took almost 2 months to see the change. I dont have that sharp pain in my stomach, my bowels are almost back to normal (but are still sensitive when I eat certain things), my energy level is back to what it was, I dont wake up in the morning wanting to go back to bed, my headaches are almost gone, and so much more. I know it sucks to not be able to eat what everyone else is but honestly its worth it. I loved beer and cheese soooo much, but now after being off of it and not wanting to feel like sh*t again I dont miss it. K I do a little but you start seeing food differently once you know thats whats making you sick. So give it a try. I think doctors are full of sh*t when they say IBS. Its easier for them to say that and that its something you have to deal with, but it doesnt have to be like that the rest of your life. Please try it. Give it at least 8 weeks. No cheating. If that doesnt help you, you will at least know its not one of the main food intolorances out there. Even start with just gluten. And blood test dont always work. I took one but nothing came of it. And trust me, if thats the case you will find a ton of food you can still eat. You'll learn to love rice and potatoes (: If you have any more questions please ask.
Has anyone had bad stomach pains constant under belly button with targeted lump by the pulse (aerota??) , weight loss (over 20lbs in 3.5 months), and constipation followed by severe diarrhea --- have to admit do not handle stress well throughout my life... but wondering if anyone has had diagnosis --- tests for this. I have had blood, urine and pelvic ultrasound... other tests that should be requested???
Same here. But I only had blood in my tool for a day. I need a colonoscopy, and i'm only 13. The poop I had with blood was almost all blood but you could see chunks in it. (I know its gross sorry) But I'm really nervous for the colonoscopy. I've had on and off diarrhea for months, Then I had It for a full day. Then (yesterday) I got the blood in my stools. Now today, I keep having to go #2 (Diarrhea) But theres no blood. Does anyone think they know the problem?
Hi i have trapped poo in my belly and was given laxatives. Now a month later i cannot go a poo and need some help. I have black tar coming out of my bum and always being sick
I had the same thing. I put myself on bland diet till it stopped and slowly re-introduced foods to see what triggered it. 3 items triggered it and they had the same thing in common - Sorbitol. No more chewing sugar free gum, eating buffet desserts, chewable vitamin C tablets, etc. Not even diet sodas. Doctor advised Align Probiotics and I've been on them for 2.5 months and I feel great. I will stay on them. Many restaurants use sugar substitutes to save money - so, at the buffet, I eat fresh fruit. Don't waste your $ on cheaper brands. Use Align and take it first thing in the morning. Hope this helps.
Consider a food allergy…particularly gluten which is found wheat , barley and rye. It can cause significant damage to the digestive tract due to difficulty in diagnosis. It took me 25 years before I realized it was a culprit. And by then intestinal damage was done such as inflammatory bowel syndrome.
