Hey y'all. I have these same problems. And have had a lot of test run. I have a family history of heart problems as well so when no one not the first doctor could find a thing wrong with me other than gerd I took it to a whole new level. Panic attacks anxiety and depression. Im 25 and have been battling it for 3 years. I don't have any answers but what helps me is prayers. And I try to stick to a bland non grease diet. But manly when these attacks happens it's when I'm stressed out. Then eventually the panicky attacks will hit. I have them at least once a month. But that honestly is good considering I was having them a couple times a day. Find whatever you can to keep your mind busy. I pray allot. God helps me more than anything. I was never a religious person until this. So whatever will help you do it. Best of luck to all and God bless.

God has nothing to do with this. I have the same issues, to a t. It is depression. Been diagnosed, problems gone. Move on. Accept it for what it is and life gets better.

I just want to say that i find it amazing that so many people suffer from this. I also want to say, for 99% of you, NO its not all in your head. i was told that for almost 2 years. I finally saw a holistic doctor and after one conversation he knew what to test me for. I came back poitive for Lyme disease. My story is long but im not going to get all into that. I just want to reassure you guys that youre not crazy and doctors will tell you its all in your head just to get you to take anti anxiety meds. which will only put a band aid on the situation. My suggestion to you all is to find a doctor who is willing to listen and test you for things other than the routine tests.

I have similar symptoms but they are caused by spasms in my diaphragm caused by a car accident. A good massage therapist was able to work with the muscles and alleviate the spasms somewhat and an antispasmodic (non intoxicating) comes in handy in bad cases

hello I have that too I even eat less not heavy meals
you might try anxiety pills it will relax you. ever since I started to eat alot because lack of teeth got new dentures on bottom
I will try to eat light not heavy . hope this will help you Gisele
keep tell yourself your okay. try eat light meals let me know if that helps.
I have that today I take diclofenac strong antiflamatories for my tmj sometimes it pushes so hard it is hard to breath
I tell myself I am okay.

First I'd like say... I feel for you my co-humans. As a sufferer of this affliction, I truly relate to the symptoms listed by each one of you. In general, I will tell you, we're suffering from an anxiety disorder. However, it can be precipitated by a bloating condition. I have suffered from anxiety since I was in my early to mid twenties. The second time was started in my early thirties and now I'm in my mid forties. Each time I prevailed over this condition it came as a direct result of a healthy diet, exercise and faith... In my case, Jesus/God. (In the end, it's God in whichever path takes you to Him). The best way to win a battle, is to know your enemy. Pay attention: Who is your enemy? Stress/anxiety Where does it come from? Work, dysfunctional family issues, relationships, money, or lack thereof-societal expectations, hereditary(my mother gave me blue eyes and anxiety ;0) Here's the key- Fight or flight. If you are faced by a criminal holding a gun to you, you either "fight"--which means battle the criminal, or "flight" run. Both of which expends the pent up energy resulting from adrenalin caused by the fear of being in that situation. But all the above listed reason behind anxiety create the same anxiety and pent up energy-however, you do not fight or flight/run and leaves that adrenalin stuck in your system.. This then becomes anxiety... And then the cycle begins. BUT... There's a simple way to address this... Burn the adrenalin -- anxiety... It's as simple as running 5-7 days a week. But you have to run at a pace that makes it difficult to talk while you run. This pace is burning the pent up energy in your body that arrived as a result of anxiety. Eat healthy... Do cardio... Bye bye horrible symptoms that you're all suffering from. I promise it's the only way to get rid of it other than zanex and other pills. Obviously take it slow in the beginning... For those who have never exercised at that level before or, like myself allowed themselves to get way out if shape. Start out my walking, graduate to a brisk walk... In time.. Brisk walk, run a little... Brisk walk, run a little... Then jog... Then jog, sprint, jog, sprint ... Then run... Then run sprint ... Then run hard... I promise this is the remedy! Feel better... I hope to hear the positive results Oh... Let's go Rangers :0) Btw.. I feel better just talking about it with you..

i have never read entire thread like this before..i have exactly same issue since lsat 5 years..but i know how to control mine..i avoid all the body movements wherein my stomach gets stressed...i keep myself constipation free...i eat green vegetable and less acidic foods..and i do some light excercise, keeping in mind that nothing should stress my stomach muscles...any minor strain like picking up my baby for 5 min can give me breathing troubles next day...

 

i have noticed that my breathing prob starts exactly after 20 to 24 hrs after i have done some straneous movement..even sneezing cause me the similar issue next day...

 

i try to calm my self down coz i have understood panic will not help either...

i m accepting it and i guess its getting better..my worst days a re shorter in comaprison to 5 years back

 

i wish and hope tht everyone get some solution for their problem..

digestion of food requires a few things....magnesium  helps the muscles to relax after calcium tightens the muscle ....most food has  ZERO  or very little magnesium in it these days...magnesium has to be researched....some people can only tolerate it through the skin. The spinkter muscle requires mag to push the stool out at the rectum.

Sulfer is a part of our muscles and mucus  systems....msm was discovered in the nineties and supplements are available ....start low dose....causes bloat at first as it is a gas producer....like broccoli on sterroids. Freshly picked food has sulfer but market food has little.

Lemon water , warm not cold or hot, helps the liver with bile  and aids in digestion and elimination. First thing in the morning.

yogurt has 7 healty aspects for digestion but kefir has 50.....take your first kefir like you would bismuth ....one teaspoon and you might bloat out until your body adjust ....Up to 1 1/2 cups a day now....amazing stuff.

pineapple and papaya have enzymes to help digest food ....you can buy papaya tablets to help get burps up.

White flour and sugar are constipating because they have their fibers removed along with their natural enzymes that you would have needed to digest them , so when you eat them, your body has to find resources to break them down.

peppermint will calm your gut and B vitamins will calm your nerves ,B-5 aids in digestion but the B vitamins work like an orchestra , keep the haromony in your body.

water is amazing stuff , drink 2 cups in the morning when you first get up and it is easier to drink more during the day....1 cup half hour before eating prepares the body to coat the lining of the stomach before the other organs bring in the acid to digest your food.

exercise helps the body stay tone and the intestinal tract is a muscle that also needs to stay fit ...it can fall over---on the top and twist and cut off in places and cause misery. Keep that tube healthy.

forgot a couple things.....coconut oil , make sure it is naturally processed and virgin organic, do some research.....then eat one tsp a day until you can increase it....little by little....heals teeth to rectum and everything inbetween ...anti viral- bacterial- fungal- microbial... cleans out intestinal tract over time of deposits of toxins.

If your gallbladder is insufficient a tsp. of apple cider vinegar in water.Or a-f betafood tablets work like a miracle

forgot to mention magnesium is in epson salts and you take a bath in the salts for muscle pain and diegestion problems . enjoy your soak with a glass of water

Hi there, I hope you are feeling better now since you posted this over a year ago? I'm responding because I had similar symptoms, which have now been cured, and I feel like I owe it to you and others to share my experience. Like you my belly (abdomen) was extremely tight and I found it virtually impossible to take a full, deep, satisfying breath. This went on for years and years and got worse and worse as I struggled with work, relationships and life in general. My Father is a scientist and I was brought up that way, so at the time Western Medicine was the only alternative. I had a number of diagnostic procedures (endoscopies, barium swallow, manometry, ultrasound, etc) go over, up and down me and come up with absolutely nothing (so very frustrating when you can't even get a diagnosis!). One morning I woke up and it felt like I could not take it anymore. That afternoon I dragged myself along to a BBQ and got talking to a girl who did Reiki. I explained my situation to her and she hovered her hand over my belly for about 4 minutes. Afterwards I felt no different and was actually quite bitter towards this person for getting my hopes up so I went home and went to bed. The next morning when I woke up I was bloody cured!!! Hello All,

I have been suffering from heaviness in the stomach and breathing difficulty for 4 years. Consulted with different doctors and multiple endoscopies. They treated for antral gastritis and H-Pylori still the sysmtoms did not go away. Also got treated food alergies and no use. It have just started happening to me like a month ago...its very hard...feels like all your organs gonna fail...I can't really do much bout it...but Its like I've lost my life...I've taken tablets injections ...nothing seems to be helping...all I can say is that the doctor told me..just don't panic when it happens...and from me just keep your mouth closed and breathe through your nose....don't open your mouth until you feel that you fine

Hi Ellen, I am so sorry you experience these things. I am in the same boat as you are. I have the same issues, even when I eat it affects me. I was just wondering, since some time has passed since you posted, if you have found any cause or if you have had any relief?
