I've been using bio oil on mine too! Mine don't hurt or anything, like some of these post say, and I don't think I've really either gained weight or lost it, though I've been making myself exercise more often lately because in one of my classes we've been eating a lot of things like cookies (it's a culinary class) and while I don't have a "desk job" being in high school certainly means I spend a lot of my time in a desk. When I massage then with the bio oil, they seem to fade, but after awhile they come back. They are usually reddish pink, but sometimes after exercising they are almost purple. Because of more blood circulation? I am also a teen. I really wish there was a post on here from someone who was successful in getting them to disappear! I also have been wondering if they were related to stress, as I have plenty at the moment.
hey do u find any soln wt abt t marks,me 23 and hvng same kind of marks, have gained some weight,bt think tht it should nt b t reson
I have had the same thing the best thing to do is to put moisturiser on it and rub ice on it
you have spider veins... go see your dermatoligist for this :D
I am a 23 female, I haven't suffered any major weight gain or loss. I dont exercise regularly but sometimes I do go on walks and my diet is I guess fair ( i eat rarely eat fast-food). these lines ( scar look-alikes, stretch marks) appeared over night (literally). one day i didn't have it and the next day it showed up. I am a lotion addict and I keep my body moisturized. whenever i rub them really fast in order to create heat with vaseline, they fade but always comes back. I wear heals almost every day and i do have a sitting job. i have been at this job for almost 2 years and this just happened, before i was a teller so i was constantly on my feet. Also, my "lines" itch. im not really sure what it is, i know i have to go to the doctor. some people thinks of stretch marks, allergies to something. or even clothing. i have noticed that if i don't wear tights, they are rather lighter then when i do, but i have gone a whole week not wearing it and yet they didn't dissapear and i must mention that that was during my vacation so i wasnt sitting down most of the time. can anyone help me?
I have the same thing and I rubbed manuka honey lotion on it and it feels a little better and the hurting is gone.
I have them to and i havnt been to the doctor. I didnt think much of it until my mum noticed them and got me all worried. What are they??
My son showed me the same type marks you are describing on this upper thigh. They just appears about 6 weeks ago. He said they don't hurt. Did anyone find out what these are???
i have bright redish pink squiggly marks on my inner thigh of my left leg that were not there yesterday..i shower every night and these marks just appeared tonight ..i noticed them when getting into the shower tonight..they do not hurt but im a bit concerned...any ideas anybody??
%-)
Hey all remember reading this a few days ago when i first noticed mine, tried something to fix it yesterday and they're already looking better, less deep and smaller. I'm fairly sure its a fungal infection, as suggested by people saying sitting down for long periods i assume where your thighs arent breathing and are sweating slightly, plus mine (not sure about the rest of you) coming up in this heat wave. Anyway, because i suspected it could be fungal i applied some anti fungal cream (i used daktarin) last night and this morning and checking tonight they've already gone down. its only been 1 day so ill keep you posted if it goes or comes back but it sounds like a fungal thing, so do try some cream, i gt daktarin from over the coounter pharmacy, and just shower lots (Mines broken atm, another indicator).
i am a med student so know slightly what I'm on about, do let me know if this helps any of you, daktarin etc will do no damage if its not a fungal fection so defo worth trying Out guys.

Hi guys im a fitness instructor a my local leisure centre!! i can tell you its nothing to worry about! if it is just a mark on the inner sides of your thigh it is just stress marks for the fact you may have a large pelvis.... if you were to not move for days it would just aventually dissapear!! it is just due to it being under more stress than usuall!!
