Did you ever figure it out? I have the exact symptoms now with the pulsating in my lower left abdomen and higher and my fingers and hands are always falling asleep! I am going through fertility treatments and wondered if that triggered something. I'm 36.

I have had this problem off and on for some time now. When I would lie down at night to go to sleep, it would bother me to the point of not being able to go to sleep for hours on end. I have recently discovered a link between eating wheat and the pulsing . When I eliminated wheat, no pulsing after one day without wheat. Hope this helps.

There is 1 condition associated with pulsating sensation (abdomen (upper)) and pulsating sensation (abdomen (lower)). The links below will provide you with more detailed information on these medical conditions from the WebMD Symptom Checker and help provide a better understanding of causes and treatment of these related conditions. If your leg is falling asleep it's very important you see a doctor, if you are having frequent urination it is also important to see a doctor because you could have an inflammation or disease of the bladder wall

My friend and I both have the same thing, my friend did go to the doctor for it though and they told her she may have an ulcer and needs to get an ultrasound. I haven't been to the doctor yet but my friend thinks I have the same thing as her but yeah I don't know what else it could be but I'll be needing to go to the doctor too.

I'm a 26 year old female who had another baby just 3 months ago. That's when it started. My leg, foot or arm would fall asleep randomly and the pulsing in my left side was very strong. Sometimes there was pain, other times there was just an inability to sit comfortably. I ended up visiting the hospital where the doctor there told me I have a slightly enlarged aorta. It is practically unheard of in a female of my age, size and lifestyle. Please get checked out. It's so important. Even just to rule this out for you.

I'm 17, and I've been having the same thing in my lower left abdomen. Ive never been pregnant and am currently on birth control. It does feel oddly as if I was pregnant, but, i know that I am not. It does not hurt, its just very annoying. Another commenter also said that her hands and fingers have been falling asleep, mine are doing that too even when I'm using them like texting or playing games. I am anemic and Im not sure if that has too do with anything or not. I get really lightheaded and feel dizzy sometimes.

I am having the same issue. I have throbbing, pulsing in my abdomen area. I talked to my primary car physician and she said it is normal and gave me one prescription after another anti-acid saying it was gastritis. (She thinks it is a mental problem really) I can't sleep at night because it throbs. It seems to have started when I had my vein procedures done for varicose veins. I have been under a lot of stress but no matter what I do, it never stops. this is driving me crazy. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
