Right, here is one thing you ALL NEED TO KNOW.. I've had this problem and gone on countless forums to read the same awnser over and over again... witch was "i have this problem too".
Im 18... But from what i've realised... This is normal to EVERY guy. I have spoken to close friends about it, they get it too. There is no cure or remidey for it.. you just have to put up with it.
Its suggested, that if its driving you completly insane.. just sit down with your penis in a bottle, and do somthing to take your mind of it... (the bottle part is so that you dont have to worry about any invonentary urinating.
But as i said... Its a thing all guys get from time to time. Its just an unknown cause that we have to live with.
I hope this helped.. Probabley diddnt because it diddnt give you a cure.. But there is none :-P.

If this is a new feeling to you, I would recommend asking your doctor if he/she will test you for a UTI (urinary tract infection). This is the most common cause of the symptoms you are describing, and if left untreated can cause bladder or kidney damage. If you do not have an infection, then you seem to be in overwhelming company and there's no solution anyone has yet found.
I have had this problem for four months now... It is worse while driving / travelling, when I walk it is fine. sometimes when sitting the feeling starts again, but when I get up and walk around the feeling goes away.... sometimes I go to the bathroom but no pee, or very little, comes out. I have been to my Doctor plenty of times but have not got a solution yet.... I have had blood tests, UTI tests, urine tests, kidney and bladder ultra sounds... if anyone has an answer please let me know.... we can't all be going crazy!
Caffeine and/or Alcohol seem to spark this symptom for me. Try cutting back on both of those. I went to a urologist about this and I can't say it was very helpful. He basically said, this happens, sometimes it goes away with antibiotics, sometimes it goes away on its own. Pretty disappointing considering how uncomfortable this can be.
I too have been encountering this problem lately. My doctor simply wrote it off as me being anxious, though nothing has changed in my life lately. I also don't drink alcohol as several others have said that affects them. It happens when I sit down, I can hold it for about 15 minutes since I first get the feeling then it is almost unbearable like I'm about to piss myself, then I stand up to walk and it's not near as bad. If anyone else has found a solution please share! Mine is pretty bad, like I have the need to go every 30 minutes or so and little comes out. It's very very very inconvenient with school and classes and all.
yep guilty also, mine is painfull, like waking up after a night of heavy drinking and havent pee'd for a couple days. its been aboout 3 days now and its getting worse, I try to pee every 15 min but nothing comes out, I thought it might be a kidney stone, but no one describes the having to piss feeling.
I've had this problem off and on for maybe the last six months... The only solution I could come up with is to pee sitting down (I'm a guy). This leads me to believe that there is some sort of blockage that is trapping urine out of the bladder somewhere on the urinary tract. Maybe by sitting it is relieving the pressure on the blockage allowing it to flow.
this is happening to me at the moment, i'm going crazy from it, i went to the loo about 5 minutes ago.
but the weird thing is, all i've had today is 18 cheesestrings (although that is probably what is causing this) and half a can of sprite. i've never had this before except when 'm slighlty ill but that's it.
any ideas? i don't wanna have to get up every 20 minutes or so just to go to the loo....it's also slihglty painful, like trying to push a baby out of the personal area....it stings like hell....

I had a "friend" who was experiencing something similar after having recently pleasured himself. He had experienced it in the past too but said it goes away eventually. I believe its a problem with the prostate so if you getting it quite regularly like some of you have said, I would recommend going to the doctors. If I got it more regularly I would go myself. I mean he sorry ;)
Be aware that this must be a pudendal nerve compression/entrapment if you have urge only when you sit down.
I have the same problem and I've been having it for years. I'm a female college student. From what my doctors have told me, both my General Physician and OBGYN, most of the time it is because my body is dehydrated or something has gotten into my urinary tract to irritate it. Could be either of them. I find that drinking LOTS of fluids helps relieve the pain and/or the urge to pee. Water is usually what I drink to help soothe it, 1-2 18 FL oz water bottles an hour seems to do the trick. Or cranberry juice, becareful not to drink too much cranberry juice however, it's a natural detox but I've been warned that if you drink to much of it that it could make the problem worse.
Usually I experience the symptoms after sex, or if I had been out drinking the night before and I had not replenished the fluids my body lost from the alcohol. Another thing, I know this is what I've been told as a woman (I don't know if it applies to males) but if you have to pee... GO PEE. Supposedly, according to my OBGYN, if you hold in your urine for too long the same sensation can occur. I don't know what exactly the condition is when this happens, but I just find that these symptoms are exactly the same as a UTI and when I go to the doctor I sometimes have one, sometimes I don't.
Overall, best advice I can give is stay hydrated as much as possible. Easiest way is to always have a water bottle with you. Limit yourself when drinking alcohol, or always alternate between a drink and water. And after sex be sure to thoroughly clean yourself up, there's a lot of fluids being exchanged and your body will react to the foreign bacteria. I find that after sex if I get the urge to pee and the urge continues, that changing into a new pair of underwear (cotton is best), and wearing loose clothing helps as well.
I hope this helps!

This is happening to me. I have the urge to pee, but then I can't or if I do it's just a little bit. and it's constant! It's such a pain. And right after I do it hurts. I'm a sexually active 17 year old female, I have sex on a regular basis. The senstation to pee is also accompained by a throbing pain in my upper right hand side. Being fingered hurts like a mofo, but I don't recgnogize a difference during sex.

I'm a 21 year old male. My work involves me being on my feet all day and moving around a lot. It wasn't until I was sitting down speaking with a coworker about a month ago that i began to experience this issue, along with an anxious feeling. For about a week after that, every time I had to sit down and do something that made me even the slightest bit anxious, I would get the strong urge to urinate, which in turn made me very anxious. Somehow, I knew that i probably didn't actually have to urinate, but even knowing that didn't make the feeling go away. Finally, at the end of that week, I was on my feet at work, performing normal duties, when the urge struck. I was surprised when it happened because this was an unusual situation for this sort of thing to occur. For the next two hours at work, I was in and out of the bathroom every ten minutes or so, only urinating a little bit each time. When I wasn't in the washroom, I felt like I simply could not control my urge to do so. After my shift, I went straight to the doctor, convinced I had a bladder or urinary tract infection. I tested negatively for both. My doctor told me that my problem was likely to be anxiety related. She also encouraged me to keep track of what I consumed and how I felt after so that I could figure out if the problem was also being triggered by something I was ingesting regularly. Apparently caffeine, alcohol, and acidic drinks are very common causes. I figured out that drinking coffee was causing problems for me, and so I stopped consuming caffeine altogether. Since then, I've found the problem to be a lot more manageable. I still get the urge to urinate when I'm sitting down and anxious, but to a much lesser extent. It feels like I have a lot more control of my body. I hope this helps!
I have had this problem since last Monday, I immediately felt something is not right when I got home last Monday from a festival (Lots of drugs/drinking was done). It has been 3 days now and it's only getting worse. It gets to the point where I will look at the chair I'm sitting on to just see if I haven't urinated. It is causing an unbearable amount of discomfort. I think it might be something to do with dehydration, my lips and skin is also very dry. My diet isn't very healthy either. If there is any medical explanation to this problem, please let us know!
