I am a 33 year old male and last night at work my left eye became a little itchy and in no time my bottom eyelid had swollen, I mean really big like I got punched. I washed out my eye at an eye wash station and iced it a little during my breaks and by the end of my shift the swelling had pretty much gone. When I got home from work I went to bed and when I awoke a few hours later I found that my right, upper eye lid was swollen!! This was also very big. There is no pain what so ever but I have no idea what is going on!!

So your left eyelid became itch and then swelled and then your right eyelid became swollen. I don't know what kind of work you do but you may have come in contact with something your are allergic to. Itching is not uncommon with allergic responses. You may have touched something you work with and rubbed that against your eyelids and then you had a reaction. I suggest you put some sterile cream with an antihistamine in it on your eyelids. You need to be careful not to get the cream in your eyes. See if that doesn't work for you. From now on you might want to be careful what you touch and make sure not to touch your eyelids.
