My son age 20 often develops swollen lips after eating bakery products this lasts for a day and then the problem gets resolved without any medication
What does this indicate?
Can any one explain and suggest a solution to this problem
he is having a reaction to the ingredients in the bakery products,like maybe baking soda, gluten, salt, flour, etc. things that make bakery foods. or do this just happen with certain types of bakery products, like strawberry cup cakes,or filling filled donuts?
This occurs after eating bakery biscuits only
what could this mean
As salt and flour he eats daily but does not cause this .
maybe its the kind of flour they use to bake with. they got different kinds of flour bakeries pick from. or the baking soda or baking powder they use. you could ask the bakery what they put in the biscuits and do a test to see what he is allergic to.
