Even me I have some hard thing in the centre of my nipple.while every girl have soft and blunt nipples
Same here I wonder is it normal
I have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM!
Mine is doing the SAME EXACT thing. The one piece of nipple turns black and gets irritated by clothes and bra so I put a bandaid over it. I believe this is the 2nd time this has happened and only after 30.
Hey I'm 16 and I had the same lump when i was around 13 or 14 and I was also paranoid so I went to the doctor and they said it was a non cancerous sis it worried me for awhile when I started getting the dead skin on my nipple as well but it's exactly that just dead skin and the best thing about the lump is to go to the doctor and get everything checked out nest way to be safe
I also have this problem since before I got pregnant, will it affect my ability to breast feed?
Has anyone got a solution for this? I am pregnant and I'm worried it will affect breast feeding I have had this problem for almost 6 years now :(
I've never had discharge, but this has happened to me once. i tried picking at it too and it KILLED. i put a bandage over it, and the next day it turned black and fell out.
I have the same problem but I don't have children nor have I ever been pregnant, it concerns me some times and this is the only feed I have ever found describing it I feel relieved to know it's not just me
Thank you! That is useful. Mine had always been the yellow whiteish. I've always had the "cracked" nipple thing ever since puberty and now that i am breast feeding the skin flakes off more. One side is worse than the other. What I have discovered is yeast. Since getting thrush (yeast infection) it flakes more often and is very itchy. Treat for a yeast infection and see if it gets better. Mine did.
It will not affect breastfeeding. :) I have had this for my entire adult life and it may pose a challenge in breastfeeding (infections may be easier to contract) but it will not stop you from breastfeeding. I have been breastfeeding fire 2 months now without any major issues.
No it will not. I have had this problem for over 10 years and am currently breastfeeding just fine. :) If you are concerned though talk with a lactation consultant or your doctor.
Yes it in more normal than people think.
If you don't have to don't. At least for me it hurt. It will come off on its own just like a scab would.
Did you manage to breast feed or produce milk?
