I've had issues with constipation for a long time and recently had my doctor check me and i can assure you IT IS NOT HARD POOP! It's in my an as and vagina wall. Awaiting letter of appointment for colonoscopy xrays etc. I wouldn't be so quick to reply to such seriouse matters of it being a hard stool. Please go and get it checked health comes first. All the best to you all.

I have exactly this. I went to a&e with groin and stomach pain, it turned out to be a cyst which I have been born with and has grew to the size of a tennis ball! Get checked ladies as it can be very dangerous if not swabbed for cancer etc. Hope this doesn’t worry you’s too much but gives you that encouragement to not ignore it and get it checked out

Same for me. Just tested it out and It was poop! I’m so relieved. I can’t believe that skin between vagina and rectum is so thin that I could feel a lump which was actually just firm stool. Crazy. But what a relief.

I'm having this problem too. Really hope someone can offer some insight. I'm scheduled for a gyno visit and am starting to worry it's not just some cyst but could be something bad like cancer.

Sounds like you are feeling back in wall of your uterus. Especially if its retroverted.

I realize the original post is several years old, but for those of you who wonder if it could be something besides poop...the answer is yes. I had an egg size tumor incased within the tissue separating the vagina and rectum. Gratefully, it was benign. The irony is that for several years, after my annual exam and pap smear, my physician would tell me to add more fiber to my diet. He felt the lump during my annual exams but, assumed it was hard feces in my rectum. Thank God it was benign and thankfully I switched to a gyn who properly found it and confirmed with a vaginal ultrasound.
