The RMS Living Luminizer is being discussed as a must have beauty product in many places. Always interested in products that make me look awesome and feel even better I am, of course, intrigued.

The fact that many describe the effects of RMS Living Luminizer as "subtle" worries me though. Subtle could mean "makes me look so good in a natural way that I forget I am wearing it" or "I'm not actually sure it does anything for me", you know?

So, is indulging my curiosity worth nearly $40? Should I just forget about the RMS Living Luminizer? Or should I get it because it is definitely totally awesome?

I'd love to hear your thoughts about it.

I would not recommend the RMS Living Luminizer for the simple reason that it has a great deal of negative reviews based on two very important things. First off, there's the fact that many people think it doesn't work, as in, doesn't give them the extra glow they were looking at in the least. Then, even more worryingly really, there's that very many people say it makes their skin breakout or have an allergic reaction. Not good. I've tried it myself and still have it sitting in the bathroom. I don't use it often though I LOVE idea of a cream luminizer for the simple reason that it just isn't very visible. I've taken to using another one instead.

I was kind of hoping for some more replies sooner, but thanks for yours anyway. Since I do suffer from rosacea, I value your review especially. I am more prone than your average person to the kind of adverse reaction that you are describing. This alone leads me to conclude that I should most probably stay away from the RMS Living Luminizer.

I'd still like to hear from other people though. I'm also very curious what other one you are using, since you mentioned it? Please share if you could.

I have the RMS Living Luminizer and it's honestly just what I need!!! I love the creamy texture and subtle effect, which for me means that it makes my skin look healthier and shimmering in a way that is definitely noticeable but does not look unnatural. I have never had issues with breakouts or rashes from it and use it nearly every day. Do note that I do not have sensitive skin or any skin conditions so I cannot say would it would be like for you of course. Hope that helps you some in answering your question anyway.

I had never heard about that, but looked it up as a result of you starting this thread. I have to say it looks very interesting. Definitely something that appeals to me and that I would think would potentially work very nicely with my dry skin. I, too, saw mixed reviews for the RMS Living Luminizer. You're always going to get those, no matter what product you are talking about, especially if it is on the expensive side. Just saying "I don't like it" makes me less weary than "this made my skin very irritated" though, since I have sensitive skin as well.

Ultimately, I'd have to test it out before buying but it does sound nice.

So I've got Benefit's High Beam luminescent complexion enhancer. It's got the same creamy texture that RMS Living Luminizer apparently has from the descriptions here and is awesome. It doesn't cause me to break out and neither have any other Benefit products. I love them, and think they're big on natural ingredients as well. Their packaging is just so pretty, it's almost worth it to buy their stuff just for the packaging. Their highlighter has a kind of pinkish tint to it, which I need 'cause my skin is light enough as it is, and I don't wanna look like a corpse. It's also def cheaper than $40... $26 in the US I just looked it up... so just another thing to think about perhaps.

Just got the RMS Living Luminizer... and I LOVE it! I don't care what other people say about it and didn't really read any reviews from consumers before getting it... It just makes my skin "pop", in a good way, giving me some of that 50s glamour that I really want! I really do hope it won't give me pimples because that would defeat the object for sure, but I've worn it for two days now and so far nothing like that, so I live in hope. It's often those "little things" that make your look complete and I think the RMS Living Luminizer meets the bill in that department!

This is a ridiculous amount of money for a very basic product with very basic ingredients! What a rip off! There are recipes floating around the web for a DIY highlighter with almost the same ingredients and according to reviews the same or better effect, which will save you a ton of money to spend on other things. Really, I'm not saying the living luminizer isn't a good product but it's just way overpriced and they won't be getting my money for that any time at all. Not worth it.
