I’ve had the same problem with the small bump underneath my left hole and the knot as well. The bump came from my starter bar snagging at my skin while eating or talking, nothing serious. It went away within 2 weeks. I now have a knot in my tongue where my left hole is. No puss, or discoloration. I had in plastic bars, and I think it cut the inside of my hole. I changed it out with surgical steel bars and the pain had went away. And they are a lot more comfortable. The knot has even decreased in size over a period of hours. I’ve had my piercing for a year now.
What is this? The piercing spot itself doesn't hurt, but my tongue does. It's been pierced about a year now.

Puss keeps coming out of my tongue piercing and it has two lumps on either side. What can this be? Please help. My tongue is also ripped a bit. Could that be the cause?
