I have periodontal disease. I visit my periodontist 3 times per year for extensive cleaning. However there are two areas in my mouth that are constant problems: around tooth #3 and tooth #14. I floss 3 times per day, use a Braun sonic electric brush, use a proxa brush, and rinse with mouth wash (non-alcohol). My periodontist says there is nothing else I can do at home. So twice per year, I end up with deep cleanings and Arestin treatments at these problem areas.

Is there something else I can do at home to alleviate these problems?

Is there a tool I can use at home to clean pockets that are more then 4mm deep?
