You described mine PERFECTLY! When it began, I would try to swat away something that might be crawling on my face! It is the upper left temple area...and is making me NUTS.

Hmmmmm alcohol related. Good point. I'll pay attention to that.

Although mine has been twitching off and on all day and I last had a beer a couple of days ago....

Did yours subside?

Wow, this is very strange to read your post. I had a minor spasm start happening behind my left temple. It comes and goes and is just annoying but thought I'd Google it. Anyhow, it started after a flight from Florida to Chicago and I was playing the same game, I think it's called Word Connect. Oh well, I am massaging my head and deleting that app!

So here I am looking for the same symptoms too. I have never experienced them. And now after reading this, mine also started happening after playing for longest precios of time on a word search game as well. So maybe I should stop for a while and see if it goes away

This just started hapening to me tonight. It's been going on for several hours now. I will go to dr for opinion. When I previously had a twitch on my right eye, I was told it was nerves. My nerves are especially bad the last couple days. I feel in my heart that my stress level has something to do with this. We shall see. Til I see dr next week going to work on some relaxation and meditation and resume my multivitamins. Stress is powerful but determination to deal with is first and foremost on my mind. Good luck guys. The twitching is as you all describe. It's like a little muscle spasms going through my temple or feels like something crawling underneath and it just twitches periodically....so annoying.

I had my first temple twitch 5 min ago, which is why I searched & found this site. I started to panic thinking it was a brain tumor or something equally scary. Thank you to all who have shared experience because it calmed me. Has anyone had medical diagnosis? It's Sunday, I plan on making an appt tomorrow but mean while I'm curious about any medical diagnosis.

I went into the Dr. Yesterday and was told it is a tension headache. I really do not think that is the problem. The Dr. Did do a few blood test to check my inflammation and it was for CRP 20.1 the the high end of normal is 9.9. My ESR was 27 with high end of normal being 20. So guessing that might be the problem. Does anyone else have inflammation with there's also?

It could be anexity I have same symptoms plus it does it in my legs too like a fluttering feeling and if I'm really nervous my head starts twitching almost like a whipping motion and my heart gets tight so as you see if it's something strange going on it could very well be anexity
