Sounds almost exactly like me at the moment. Has this subsided for you? How have you been doing? I am at the point where I am not sure who to talk to and what to try. I am a depressed 37 year old male because of these headaches which have been present now for 2 weeks and counting. Doctors and chiro have not resulted in any great degree of help. I got glasses to help with my vision which was poor before this began, but I am not sure if the two are related. The glasses have not gotten rid of the headaches so I am unsure. The headaches aren't painful as much as they debilitating and stressful which has made it worse. I have lost my desire to do anything and have even stopped exercising, thinking why do it when the headaches (discomforts would be a more accurate term) are almost always present. In fact, I feel like some sort of impending doom is awaiting me and this is most likely making the headaches worse. My sleep is poor which is further making things worse. I know this is a fairly old post so I hope it gets read and someone responds. Thanks all for reading.

I think the issue is one of muscular nature to be completely honest.  I've been suffering with many of these very symptoms.  I work a desk job at a computer most of the day, and when I go home I'm constantly researching online for a possible explanation, when in fact I've probably been causing my issues all along.  Poor forward head posture with shrugged shoulders most of the time has caused tightness in my scalene and sternocleidomastoid muscles.  The trigger points in the back of the neck just below the scalp and along the sternocleidomastoid muscle are what I believe to be causing the dizziness, headaches, and ringing in the ears.  Other symptoms may be the result of the anxiety built up due to the dizziness and ear ringing, resulting in more muscle tension, creating spasms and twitching and just an overall awful disposition.  If you've gone the route of the MRI/CT scans, bloodwork etc, and have found nothing, google the sternocleidomastoid trigger points and symptoms, and you may discover that in your extensive search for answers to your ailments were in fact causing you to feel worse.  Sometimes we are our own worst enemies.

For the record, I am not a doctor.  Other possiblities would be lyme or similar bacteria, nutritional deficiencies, anxiety, inner ear problems, hormonal imbalance, adrenal fatigue etc.  If the trigger points don't work for you, this is where I'd look.

I wish all of you the best!

Also.... its extremely important to heal your gut, so look after that first and foremost as that's where most illnesses originate.

Look up chinese medicine and the meridian systems relating to the liver, gallbladder, back etc.  There is some interesting info there also.

also...check your iron (ferritin) levels.  This is a big one!

Definitely call Dr. Debby. What doctor do you know who would call you at home at 8:30 pm on a Sunday night to run you through a test for Vertical Heterophoria?! She not only sent me to a clinic in Texas(only two hour drive away) but called them to make sure I had an appointment in just a few days rather than the month away appointment they gave me.(she personally trained the techs who are working with me.
I was diagnosed with Veritical Heterophoria(fairly severe), bad stigmatism in both eyes and extreme farsightedness. They are working me into half prescription prism lenses which I will wear for a month before going to the full prescription. She said the full prescription would make my anxiety skyrocket.
My symptoms? 6 months of extreme lightheadedness, wobbly, weak arms and legs, nausea. 6 months ago I was jogging two miles a day and riding my bike 12 miles a day. Now, I can barely wobble around the block like a 90 year old(and I'm only 59). I went through every heart, brain, ear and blood test you can imagine and the doctors never once said, "say, maybe its your eyes!
I get my starter pair of prism lenses next week and then the healing begins. Call Dr. Debbie! She has called me back at home 3 times just to make sure I'm ok...........that in and of itself says a lot about about how much this Doctor really cares.

Check your liver.  Might be fatty which can lead to toxin buildup.  Can cause all these symptoms along with tight tendons and muscle spasms.

for the last 3 years I been getting heavy eyes, not so much blurry, but more like I can't open my eyes all the way constantly. It occurs more often after caffeine/energy drinks consumption. Sometimes I my head is sweating while my eyes episode is occurring. At times, I also have dizziness and headaches too. It seems that the dizziness and headaches are occurring due to my eyes not being balance or something. It been to numerous doctors with out real results. Man, I just wish I can get rid of this unexplained problem.

Fatty Liver. Go get an ultrasound of your liver by your GP.

I'm 63 years old and have never experienced anything like this form of dizziness. Today marks 3 weeks since the onset of this condition and I'm wondering if it will ever go away. It is present every morning, somedays worse than others. Sometimes I feel it while still lying in bed and just turning my head from side to side. Somedays it seems to retreat fairly quickly and I can function just fine while others are just the opposite. The inconsistency is aggravating because it's constantly teasing me.

I have no accompanying headache, nausea, or even serious fatigue. It mainly feels like my brain is awash in my head and even subtle movement of turning my head will really throw me off balance.

I had initially thought it was Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) after reading about it and my doctor concurred based on my symptoms. He referred me to another doc in our local clinic who has seen lots of BPPV and is good with the Epley maneuver to rid it. In performing that he could see that I did not exhibit the typical symptoms of jittery eyes and nausea, so he ruled that out. He suggested that it may be a viral infection and prescribed Betahistine (?), unfortunately with no affect.

So now I'm back to wondering and this morning, not driving or working, and heading back to my regular doc again. I'm certainly sympathetic to all of the posts in this dicussion because it's a horribly dibilitating disorder.

Hi everyone. I studied with Dr. Debby Feinberg. She is amazing. Her treatment with prisms is very effective if your eyes are causing your symptoms. I am in New York if anyone needs a doctor who specializes in this! Cheryl Berger Israeloff, OD

Wow your symptoms sound really close to time. Even down to seeing out of the right eye (my right eye seems to be darker than the left). The only thing i can think of is your fall. I have a herniated disc in my lower back and now the discs in my neck are compressed. This could be the cause of your issues. I'm headed back to see a chiropractor regarding my neck.

Praying that your symptoms subside along with everyone else.

I have.. once. Last October 12th to be exact. But I didn't have any warning. Just one minute I was talking to someone and the next I felt this intense urge to urinate and I thought I SAID that to the person and I thought I started to walk away and then I was down. I fell straight back and smacked my head on a concrete floor. She said I seized slightly after that. A brain CT at the ER was clear but I've had numerous concussions over my life.

I have nearly all the symptoms of everyone. Lightheadedness, extreme fatigue. I feel best lying down, but not totally flat. Head straight ahead, cold compress on my head.

I have found that when it's at it's worst I have an intense and frequent urge to urinate (no idea what that is about).

I have a HIGHLY stressful life. And I'm guessing it's anxiety combined with a ridiculously stiff neck. I was diagnosed with kidney stones in the last week or two. Abdominal CT didn't show anything other than that and a small lesion on my liver.

I am prone to motion issues but I control that by not doing anything to trigger it.. ie, I don't go on amusement park rides etc. But I travel every two weeks to take my daughter to see her dad, which requires 4 ferry trips in 2 days and I manage that with dramamine.

I'm freaked by what 's going on. Been working exclusively from home the last 3 weeks, using my kidney stones as an excuse frankly because i'm a contractor and who would understand this???

I'm not sure if I'm responding in the right place. I think I know what many, many people have here... It's one of two possibilities - Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Lyme Disease. If I could, I would reply to each and every one of you.

I have severe Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I may have Lyme Disease. Both illnesses cause CRUSHING FATIGUE, beyond words. Beyond Fatigue. WOOZINESS, light-headedness, head pressure, a loud hum in the ears, unrefreshing sleep, feeling as if you have a bad flu that never goes away, feeling like you're veins are filled with lead, burning muscles, numbness, tingling, exhaustion after exertion, etc. Many unusual symptoms. LYME DISEASE CAN BE TREATED - particularly if caught early. Get tested. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a different story...

There's also a third, distinct possibility - chronic mercury poisoning from amalgam fillings. My wooziness started within a month after some poor dental work. It continued to worsen and was non-stop. Then I got more dental work (all involving metal fillings), and within a month of that BAM the fatigue and pain etc hit hard. That's the thing with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Lyme and mercury poisoning - the symptoms often hit very hard. Good luck to you and I hope you feel better soon.
