Hmm, sounds exactly like myself. All your symptoms even the dread, and same kind of timeframe. I am about to go for another mri because it is getting to me lately. Some thoughts on causes.. I have had 4 wisdom teeth removed and have had jaw problems since, tmj. Terrible posture from work, and s few accidents has given me a bad neck. Also a chiropractor has told me that nerves can get blocked/pinched very easily if bad posture or back/ neck issues. I am thinking these are the issue. But also had a bad reaction to vaccines when i went to china, and was sick for about 3 years with chronic fatigue after. Also ended up with glandular fever which i had to force my dr to check for.

Hey folks, I believe I have experienced similar conditions and may have reduced it to nothing or it is gone. I'm experiencing it on the right side of my head though the feelings and location are the same. Look up trigeminal neuralgia and/or Atypical trigeminal neuralgia. This may sound woo woo but the way I went about "healing" it was by getting myself into a deep meditative state and focusing my attention and energy toward the location of the sensation. While doing this I imagined with full belief that it was healing and made my own visualization of myelin forming around the nerve. I did this for 5 to 10 minutes in a dark quiet location while lying on my back in a mostly flat position. The pillow I used was low so as not to bend my head up too much. I had been experiencing the annoying sensation for almost two weeks and was starting to lose it a bit. After the "healing meditation" which I did right before falling asleep for the night, it was gone the next day. Something useful to remember is that it can be caused by inflammation so you may need to change up your diet. As in stop eating heavy amounts of sugar and excessive carbohydrates. Getting better sleep will also help. To this day, weeks after mediating I still have not had it reappear. I wish you all the best in healing this life consuming condition!

Another addition to this would be really focusing on improving your posture. Yoga is literally a magical realm of health and life improvement which will also improve your body posture over time. As well there have been studies showing correlation between wi-fi and/or phone signals and a reduction of myelin. So if you have a combined bad posture, heavy wi-fi or phone use, poor diet causing inflamed body and below average sleep then you are not helping your body to function properly. The real solution may not lie in what a doctor can subscribe but a change in lifestyle!
