If you have a empty stomach the acid in the sodas from the carbonation it will give u a upset stomach for sure
You said it buddy
What!? NO! Do NOT consume baking soda it's very bad for you!! I have done that (don't ask why) and I got terribly sick.
I've been on holiday for 7 nights drinking vodka and coke, ive had 2 bad experience with my bowels no pain just can't hold my bowels by the time I get to toilet it's to late I've already done it very embarrassing suitation .can coke do this to you x
well if you have ever worked in fast food then you would know a lot of them do not clean out the soda dispenser nozzles and they do grow mold inside of them which is direct contact with the soda that is being dispensed into your cup so there for you are drinking all kinds of mold spores and particles so cutting off fountain drinks all together should solve that issue and just stick to bottled or canned sodas. also if you do go out and deside you want a fountain drink those plastic nozzles come off easily by just a twist so you can see for yourself if they have been cleaned or not if they have mold it will be dark and slimy on the inside.
i am a bartender and i know from experience the fountain soda runs thru a series of tubes before it gets to your glass, if they aren't cleaned regularly (which most places don't clean them) then bacteria builds up which comes right out thru the tubes and into your glass, which can cause you to get sick some people are more sensitive than others to this bacteria.
Me too, all I have to do is drink one or two mouthfuls of coke and within five minutes my stomach can be crampy and then within 15-20mins I can be in the toilet throwing my insides out regardless of if I have eaten or not
I live in the U.S.. I have diarrhea and what if i drank cherry Pepsi so what would happen I just want to know
The problem is the bacteria in the lines and or fountain drinking facilities themselves. How often do you think these fast food chains actually CLEAN out the lines? Darker sodas in particular are worse per the syrup. That c**p just sits in there day after day. Sure, there is movement from use, but it still cakes on the lines and will eventually accumulate and harbor bacteria. I almost NEVER drink from fountains as get sick almost EVERY single time. I went to Taco Bell the other day and ordered a Sierra Mist as the lighter ones usually aren't as bad. Within 20 minutes my stomach was gurgling. Never again!!
I don't think the poster's above said anything about it being a diet beverage. Aspartame is typically only used as a substitute sweetener so wouldn't be in regular Dr. Pepper, Mello Yello and such. Of course I'm afraid of aspartame and stay away from that. The thing about it is that I have drunken them for years. I need to find out what's going on because it makes me so sick I have to be in bed and I'm just miserable Wish much help 2 all.
I do not drink diet soda I drink regular cola and or Sprite
Maybe they are cleaning the nozzels on the fountain machine correctly or at all ? Idk a chemical could be being used
I am sorry that you have this issue but for me it's nice to hear that you have the same issues as me. I love Dr. Pepper so much and after reading your post it makes since what you said about fountain sodas vs can sodas. Thanks for sharing!
I think it's due to the soda machines nozzle not being cleaned inside. I hear it's time consuming so a lot of places don't clean it throughly. I just had a vitamin water from a fountain dispenser and one hour later, I have diarrhea.
The weird thing was...right after I drank a sip there was pain like you wouldn't believe, it felt like someone stabbing and it's been 5 minutes and it still aches
