Watch your sugar intake that will deffinately mess with you. Because it's a soda and a milkshake those are two of the most common high sugar substances. Also a lot of soda has high fructose corn syrup so that can be a big trigger on your health issues and if you have increased in weight at all. Just watch your sugar a little better!

I believe it could be the case, (was the case for me) that you have accidentally swallowed some milk. The chemical they use for the carbonating process is citric acid which reacts horrible with milk and other substances. Your stomach might have possibly curdled and I advise you to go to a doctor for a checkup with this information. Orange and Lemon juices also do the same problem. If you are already aware of this or do not experience this pain anymore, then I apologise for wasting your time. I hope this comes of good use to you.

You're risking your health just to fit in at parties. Girl stop. It's not worth it at all and it's so much better to get in the habit of drinking water when you're so young

I believe it is that the soap used to clean the lines may not be rinsed well enough and that's what causes the issue ...ingesting soap will give you diarrhea....that's why the issue only happens with the fountain drinks and not cans ...becareful where you buy your soda

Not sure if this is scientifically sound, but like some of the others I often get sick from fountain drinks but not cans, and usually not plastic bottles - but sometimes really old soda in plastic bottles does affect me. I'm wondering if the mystery ingredient causing the sickness is the plastic or rubberized tubing in the case of fountain drinks (which travel through tubing from canisters to the dispenser). Some other plastic/rubberized items like gloves and band-aids give me skin reactions. So, maybe slight leaching of plastic/rubber into the drink from bottles and fountain tubing is having similar reactions by making me sick when I drink soda from these sources? Just a theory.
