Hi,
I'm 17 year old male and relatively healthy. I think i was 15/16 I noticed a ball whilst examining my testicles. Its located underneath my left testicle and it feels like there is a connection between this ball and my testicle. I noticed it when I was 15/16 payed no notice at all but now I'm starting to worry slightly. It has been there for at least a year and a half, it causes no significant pain, it hasn't enlarged and I can move it about. It only hurts if i squeeze it. I will go to the doctor but I just wanted a professional opinion on the matter before i do so.

This isn't a professional opinion, but an experienced one. My understanding is that hard lumps are more serious. That's good news for you. Cysts are common. However, you don't know this for sure. You ALWAYS want to have abnormalities checked by a physician right away, because perhaps they can be caught early in a possible disease process and then cured. You have soreness now....get to a doctor for treatment....Don't put your future at stake.
I spot a lump under the left testicle too it feels like it is located at the end of a vein there is also a connection between it and left testicle. I have grade 3 varicocele in the left scrotum and the ball/lump gets larger when the veins is enlarged especially at the end of day (evening time).
I just wonder how you getting on with your doctor I will be seeing my urologist next week so a reply from you will be highly expected.
Thanks

Hi
I don't have your exact same problem. My experience is in the past, thankfully, with cysts. I am glad to hear that you've apparently had this problem looked at before and I am soooo glad that you have an appointment with your physician. My cysts were insignificant, and related to minor blockages. Good luck to you....Let me know what you find out. :)

Hi:
After reading all of the posts, you should find some relief in knowing that you are not alone in this. You had an appointment to see a doctor. How did that go? What did you find out? I hope that it wasn't serious. With all of the people who share your problem, you can be very helpful here by sharing your experience and findings. Please update us on your situation. I hope you found answers and things are going well. Let us know.

Ok... so i also have a hard lump on under my left testicle. I can only feel it when my testis is hardened. While masturbating i start to feel pressure on it and can't finish because of pain there. When i'm just normal i don't feel pain there, i just feel discomfort where the lump is located and sometimes my left testicle will feel achy. I have no idea what this is, all i know is i hope to see a urologist as soon as possible and just find out what it is. Someone suggested it could even be a blood clot, is that possible? Another thing, as i masturbated a day or two before discovering this lump i felt a sharp pain on the top left of my penis's shaft, and when i looked down at it i noticed the vein was really thick and hurt when i touched it. So i let go and my penis was going to normal size but the vein stayed the same size. I had to massage the vein for a minute or two until it went somewhat back to normal size. What is going on with me people? I'd really appreciate some opinions.

Hi
Well I'm only a nurse not a doctor but I don't recommend massaging a vein that you think may have a blood clot because you could dislodge it or it could possibly break apart. Seeing a urologist is the best option I believe. From your description a blood clot does sound like a probability but there are a number of things it could be. I do recommend that you obstain from sexual activity until you find the cause of your discomfort. I know for some people that's easier said than done but that's just my opinion. I do hope it isn't too serious and that something I've said has helped.
