WEIRD SENSATION FEELS GOOD

Hey.
I too get the exact same sensation.
By reading all these posts, I've come to two conclusions:
1. We've been experiencing this since we were young.
2. We all have the same triggers.

But what about sex?
Maybe this is something that only occurs to guys and not girls?
Seems to me judging by the way you guys write that we're all dudes. :l

i first got it when someone opened my pencil case at school and started looking at what i had, inspecting the contents closely. after that i ve had it when a teacher writes on a white board with a marker. As Ive got older ive had it briefly a couple of times but not as intense.

Okay.. That's interesting.... It seems that everyone here that experiences this sensation is male. Also, someone was talking about where everybody lived.. I live in Los Angeles, California. Totally willing to arrange a meet, as I've never met anyone else who experiences AIHO. But I would have my Dad with me, and if you're not an adult, I suggest you do also. Just to be safee.

I think the wikipedia idea is a good one; it would be great to see some more information about this weird thing out there. There have got to be lots of people who can feel this!

Oh and I'm female -- doubt it's a male-only thing. That or I'm just a freak ;-)

Wow.. a girl that has it... that would certainly make for a great couple if both the guy and gal had it... Interesting....

I have the same thing. Here's a specific example of something that causes it for me. It's a video of someone memorizing the orientation of a rubik's cube and solving it. The memorization is what causes it, seeing him concentrate on the cube and moving it around in a specific way that just intrigues me. I wonder if anyone else finds that this triggers the feeling, or whether certain people react differently to the same things.

i almost got the sensation just from reading all of these posts. :-) i have NEVER thought or took the time to give this feeling much thought since it 1st happened in the 2nd grade. i am now 21, and i still get these wonderful euphorically enhanced chills. 8) it is extreme at times and i dont think i would ever want to give it up for a cure as someone else mentioned in a previous post lol. i have pieced and taken from every post what i can best describe as the motives behind this [rare?] condition.

1. deep inner reflection. {meditation} [someone who likes to analyze the little things in life, even the big things. In general you are a thinker.]
2. attention. not just simple attention from daily life styles. inner attention. someone that is devoting their complete time and energy to you. [a story from someone, an online conversation, or close interactions]
3. this can happen to both male and female. and can be triggered by either male or female.[living organisms in general, well except plants lol unless its that extreme with someone] it can even be triggered by a sounds. [sometimes after it has been triggered a sound or delicate movement can affect its tidal pulses]

There are still other things that can bring about its commute upon yourself, but these are the ones i consider most affective towards results.
There are no real side affects that i am aware of. it may just be coincidence if you feel something abnormal after this already abnormal feeling lol. unless its happened more than once i would go and see a dr. cause it could be something else far more serious. but for the most all of us that have this seem to truly enjoy when it happens. I would like to find out how to better meditate and get this orgasmic feeling to come about at will. I would also like to figure out the chemistry that is going on in the brain when this happens. Obviously there is a deep tie that binds our inner emotions with our body in a way that when we look at the world we almost astral project ourselves and view things very different from society. If anyone has anything to add please do. I want this to be taken seriously. I want to form some sort of society and i want everyone to participate in it. I want answers to why there are no answers to this anomaly.

In association to forming a society i would be very interested in getting together. I live in Detroit, Michigan.

FINALLY, for those who feel compelled to, i highly recommend looking up "indigo children". Let me know what your thoughts are. Look forward to hearing from EVERYONE!!! (=

p.s. I think it would be pretty interesting myself to be in a relationship with a female whom has this lol <_<

I viewed the video yesterday also i could feel the sensation whirring around the base of my neck but i slept funny the night before so i believe the pain in my neck was prohibiting it from being triggered, also my surroundings have a great impact on it happening.
i think a yahoo group would be an EXCELLENT start.
