Hi, I believe I have an earlobe cyst. It's hard and is on my earlobe. It's round shaped. It doesn't hurt and doesn't do any bother to me. I am getting it removed by a plastic surgeon and i was wondering how the procedure works and what are the risk? What are the outcomes? Will I be able to get my ear pierced again?
Well,
How long have you been having this earlobe cyst? Can you tell me why are you going to see a plastic surgeon? Do you think that they will do a better job than other surgeon in the hospital? I don’t think that this is very complicated procedure and you will most likely be all good after few days after the procedure. I don’t really know the complete process of the procedure but I think that they will do it with local anesthesia. Do you want to have a ear piercing right at the spot where the cyst was or near it? I don’t think that it will make any difference for piercing when the cyst is removed.
Good luck,
Karel
