What does it mean if you can't hold your urine for long?

Hello. I'm 17 years old and I have very embarrassing problem. I can't hold my urine for long. I pee about 6-7 times daily and for a week whenever I feel the urge that I have to pee I have to rush to find a toilet immediately because I can't seem to hold it anymore. If I wait too long (about minute) my stomach starts to hurt and I could feel warm urine running down my leg. There's nothing I can do to stop it. I've wet myself 2 times the last week and I have also wet my bed last night. There is no big amount of urine tho. When I pee, I stop peeing in less than 10 seconds. But if I don't go immediately I would pee myself. My urine is clear. I don't have any health problems. I do drink a lot of water because I'm active. Can you tell me what's wrong with me? I am embarrassed to go to the doctor.

Hey, I m 18 and I 2 have a same problem I just can't stop for a sec. Though I don't do it on bed but then too at night till I fall asleep every 5 min I have to go to pee and that a lower amount. It would be a good idea to tell your parents if you are still having problems holding your pee.
You could have a bladder infection so you should see your doctor.
People, it's likely Overactive Bladder. Try asking urologist, or gynecologist. They can prescribe pills. Very common. Azo may be helpful and it's Over the Counter in a local drugstore in the urine "incontinence" aisle. Ask the pharmacist regarding side effects and take it with food or you may get stomach aches.
Kids, please don't be embarrassed. Tell your mother's at once. Chances are they may be experiencing the same thing as many, many older people do. I had it when I was young and now over 40 and have different kinds of urinary problems. Do not ever be embarrassed to talk about this stuff to your parents whether you're a boy or girl! There's nothing to fear! If they don't take you to the doctor, keep telling them it is upsetting you and they need to take you in for medicine. :)
