Hi Serpentine: I don't know why this feed didn't come across my computer till today, but anyways. Do you think this bleed is a period? Also another way of getting a blood test is to go into your local Planned Parenthood Clinic! Let me know what's happening OK?

My periods are usually heavy. Is my implantation bleeding suppose to be a little less. With cramps??

Implantation bleeding is actually spotting and only happens in 1/3 of women! It CAN happen with cramps as well! Also some women have spotting and cramping when they are ovulating! BUT this is VERY light! Have you started bleeding as in a period?

Yes sort of.... but i have also read on some websites where sometimes it can be a little more than spotting and they are still pregnant when they go to a doctor

When is it safe to have sex after implantation??

?!!! Implantation means that a fertilized egg has implanted into the lining of your uterus!! So you are pregnant when that happens! So you can have sex anytime! The only thing that is true about bleeding is that you can have what appears to be a period for upto 4 months after conceiving! It happens in a low percentage of women, but it still can happen! Implantation bleeding is when the fertilized egg - the size of a pin head - implants into your uterus, it dislodges a VERY small bit of the lining of your uterus and thus the spotting is brown - which means old blood! When women spot when they are ovulating, it is pink - because you ovulate right after your period, so it isn't old blood! Believe me honey, if it was implantation, it would DEFINITELY not be like a period! But you can still get a period - usually lighter and shorter in length - even though you are pregnant! So take prenatal vitamins - just incase. And pretty soon you will be able to take a test!

Did Bambi's answer help you out at all? did you mean implantation in terms of the fertilized egg attaching itself to the lining of the uterus? Let me know if that helped out out at all.
