When will I start releasing sperm? I get some white, slightly yellow stuff coming out.

Hi all 

Im 13 and i don't know if its normal if i havent started putting out sperm. Once i was jerking off and this light white/slitly yellow stuff came out. is that sperm? when will i put out sperm?

Hi! The simple answer is your body starts making sperm when it's ready. The stuff you put out may have been sperm. A lot depends on exactly when it happened. Did you have an orgasm? After you have been masturbating for a few minutes you may reach a point where a tingling feeling spreads over your body and you feel a throbbing or pulsating sensation in your penis. It's hard to miss because it feels so good. If stuff comes out at this time then you are ejaculating. If not, don't worry. Your body will make sperm when it's ready. No worries, my friend. The colorless stuff is produced by glands in the male reproductive tract, including Cowper's glands, prostate, and seminal vesicles. Secretions from the seminal vesicles can have a slightly yellow color. These secretions are thicker and stickier than pee. Early in puberty the ejaculations are often colorless because they are mostly secretions from these glands, and as your body matures the semen becomes more white and opaque as the amount of sperm increases. However there is usually at least some sperm present even if the fluid appears colorless. It sounds like what you are experiencing is completely normal so continue to enjoy it.
