Is vaginal discharge normal?
Yes. Glands inside your vagina and cervix make small amounts of fluid. This fluid flows out of the vagina each day, carrying out old cells that have lined the vagina. This is your body's way of keeping your vagina healthy and clean. The discharge is usually clear or milky and doesn't smell bad.
The color and thickness of the discharge change with your monthly cycle. The discharge is thicker when you ovulate (when one of your ovaries releases an egg), when you breastfeed or when you're sexually excited.

What changes may be a sign of a problem?
Changes that may signal a problem include an increase in the amount of discharge, a change in the color or smell of the discharge, and irritation, itchiness or burning in or around your vagina. This is called vaginitis. A discharge that's stained with blood when you're not having your period could also be a sign of a problem. If you have any of these signs, you should talk to your doctor.

Tips on preventing vaginitis
•After using the toilet, always wipe from front to back. This may help prevent getting bacteria from your rectal area into your vagina.
•Wear cotton underpants during the day. Cotton allows your genital area to "breathe." Don't wear underpants at night.
•Avoid wearing tight pants, pantyhose, swimming suits, biking shorts or leotards for long periods.
•Change your laundry detergent or fabric softener if you think it may be irritating your genital area.
•The latex in condoms and diaphragms and the sperm-killing gels that are used for birth control can be irritating for some women. If you think one of these things is a problem for you, talk to your doctor about other types of birth control.
•Avoid hot tubs.
•Bathe or shower daily and pat your genital area dry.
•Don't douche.
•Avoid feminine hygiene sprays, colored or perfumed toilet paper, deodorant pads or tampons, and bubble bath.

What can cause these changes?
These changes can occur if the normal balance of healthy bacteria (germs) in your vagina is upset. Many things can disturb the balance of a healthy vagina, including douching, feminine hygiene sprays, certain soaps or bubble baths, antibiotics, diabetes, pregnancy or infections.
Vaginal Discharge: Changes That May Be Signs of a ProblemI'm 15 years old & I've only had sex once & that was a like 5 months ago so I know I'm not pregnant but their is like this white-ish clear-ish liquid that comes out of my vagina & idk what it is. I know that I'm not pregnant but I just don't know what it is! I'm really scared cause it could be something bad so...idk. And I don't think it has to do with my period either. Can someone help me??

alright, im 16 and me and my boyfriend just started having sex, we have been dating for 5 months , we used a condom and he pulled out right before he busted. Ever sincewe had sex, my belly itches and my vagina hurts when i pee and i have white liquid coming out of my vagina, anyone know whats going on with me ? i'm scared to tell my mom because i know its a mistake and i dont want her to be angry with me because i am only 16. Please answer me so i dont have to worry .
you can't get pregnant by getting fingered. the chances of that are so small that if you are pregnant, i would feel seriously bad for you, and tell you to probably buy a lottery ticket. also, unless he hadn't urinated since the last time he came, there should be very little semen in his pre-cum. you're fine. just ask your gynecologist (get one if you don't have one already) and start birth control!
Get an STD screening. Pronto.

I am 16.Well i have that same sticky stuff, i never had sex, no one touched me b4, never had a boyfriend either yet. So i do not know what it is. Someone may answer what it is? o.o Some people say is becuse your going to get your period in 6-8 months but im not sure.
just buy a pregnancy tester to check it out right 2 -3 times to make sure you get the right answer if you pregnant or just producing it out of disease
wow am 15 too && I had sex 4 months ago , same thing happens to me with the white stuff I don't know what it is But I usually wear the mini lil pads so my pantys don't get dirty. But I would like to know what it is though to.
this same thing is happening to me, I'm still a virgin. but both clear and white liquids have been showing up on my underwear. my vagina is itchy and it smells, what is the matter with me??
ok i have had the same prob as u lot went to doc and they said it was normal. I am 16 and never had sex and never been touch in am way that could get me preg. doc said some time it normal for woman to this more than other women and not to worry .but that don’t stop it being horrible. and it has had an affect on my love life and other mater of my life u are not alone ok .
the white liquid is very normal. every girl gets it, so'don't freak out. though it is annoying because it can stain your underwear. anyway, you should really ask your mom, or a female you can trust, about these things. also, i wouldn't let my bf do that, you should respect yourself and he should respect you. and no, you aren't preggers, so don't worry. :-)
