Having sex the first time will not delay your period, however, all the stress and worry you are feeling CAN delay your period.
Unless you are TRYING to get pregnant, you should use protection every single time you have sex. Period.
Make an appointment with an OB/GYN, or go to your local Planned Parenthood, for a complete physical and to discuss birth control and get more accurate information on your cycles, rather than relying on what your friends tell you...unless your friend has MD after their name.
Good luck to you...I hope everything turns out OK. :)
I know this was posted years a go, but this is a response for anybody else seeking for advice.
Unless you WANT to start a family and have your life turned upside down and you and your sexual partner have been checked for SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS AND DISEASES... WEAR A CONDOM AT LEAST!!
STI's are passed by that disgusting salty juice you wash down your throat, because he asked you to swallow (yes, you can get an sti by swallowing too!). Just don't do it. There are loads of sperm on the end of his penis when he gets an erection, so don't even think about putting it anywhere near your cookie! Remember it only takes ONE to get you pregnant. so you don't even have to have sex to get preganant.
AND the sperm that do make it to your ovaries (what hold your eggs), are drawn to the walls of the ovaries and go to sleep, untill you ovulate (release an egg) and then the sperm are woken and carry on their mission of penetrating that egg, just like when he penetrated you.
Don't get me wrong, sex can be incredible and a lot of men and women rave about it being so much better without a condom, to be honest, I think those women have bucket fannies and the guys don't know what they're doing with their penis.
I had sex without a condom. Yeah it was great! His juices dribbling ut of me, not so much, and then our lives turned upsidedownandbacktofront. I have just celebrated four years with that guy, and soon I will be celebrating our SON's third birthday. It happens and it will happen to you if you don't use your common sense. If he/she, doesn't want a condom on, DON'T HAVE SEX AT ALL!
Obviously I know what's it's like in the heat of the moment, and my goodness I thank God that I have a wonderful and beautiful son rather than an STI that has left me infertile.
Termination isn't the way to go, really. You should never think of that as an option unless a life is in danger.
Even that quick and easy pill that will literally abort the pregnancy... What happens is that you are forced into labour, however far along you are, even just five weeks. And you won't just sit on the toilet, push a little blood out and party that evening, you will be incredibly ill, in the most amount of pain you could ever imagine and your boyfriend will just be relieved that he doesn't have to tell his parents he has knocked up some girl.
If you want to have sex, really think it through, do you REALLY want to do it with that person, or is it just a quick fix to upping your highschool status. Even if you're "in Love". Just buy a load of condoms first. and dont' do it just to please the otehr 'cause they're the hottest and most popular and way out of your league, so you have to do whatever they say... no! Don't, it'll probably bit rubbish anyway, haha!
The great thing about protected sex, is that you can do it over and over, NOT with the same condom! I suggest that girls, and guys, use other methods of protection AS well as a condom. I mean, what if the sex is so good, or she's so dry, that it splits, and he ejaculates and... well... whoopsie!
Better to be safe than sorry. and whatever chance you can get, get tested for STI's, especially when they're offering the tests for free. It's nothing you should be embarrassed about and if you are, should've thought about that before you came.
Well, enjoy responsibly!
ps And if either party says "no" or has a look of doubt, just say "no worries, when your ready", 'cause it's nothing you want to rush into, and you don't want to rape them.
pps drunk sex can get you into ALL sorts of trouble and it is NO excuse.
