I am a 17 year old boy, who seems to be suffering from some sort of penile dysfunction. When I was younger and puberty hit all my friends, it hit me too, my voice started deepening, I started growing armpit hair and pubic hair, shortly to be followed by facial hair, as a normal puberty would go. Except, my penis and testicles never developed, its still as if I was 12 years old. Although my penis seems to be undeveloped, it is fully functional, I can become erect and ejaculate as any penis would, but it's still very small. I have looked at some articles about how being overweight can affect your penis size, as I am well over weight and always have been. So I would like to know what is causing my genital organs to be so small. It is a very concerning topic on my mind constantly, as I would like to satisfy a woman and have children when the time comes. I hope someone out there can help me with my issue.

I’m not sure what you mean by small – the average penis is between 4.5-6 inches when erect – but you are young and still have some growing to do. As long as things are functioning normally otherwise, there is no reason you would not be able to have a normal sex life and father children. It’s true that being overweight can affect how big your penis *appears* to be – this is just because the abdominal fat above it can make it look smaller. Losing weight is a good idea for you overall health, though, and doing it sooner rather than later will help to prevent problems as you get older. Thank you for the reply, but what do you suggest I do? Should I see a doctor, if so, a general practitioner or a specialist, or should I try to become my ideal weight and see what happens from then? As I'm sure you know, I want to solve this problem in my life as quickly as possible, it is very embarrassing and is affecting me in terms of confidence and emotional well-being. It is probable that your penis is actually normal size, but much if it is hidden within the fatty pad in your pubic area.
