Are fordyce spots on the scrotum normal too ?
I think I have one for some years now which is getting
bigger over time. It is about 3 mm or more in diameter now,
and looks very big and bulging.
It looks much like a fully ripe pimple filled with yellow pus.
I took a photo of it. Sorry about the quality, I used
a webcam. Here's the link. (Moderators, if I am not

Can any kind of laser treatment by the dermatologist be
used to remove it ?

Hi,
I have exactly the same thing as in your picture and have started to realy worry about it recentley.I noticed it about a year ago but assumed it would dissapear on its own,However it is still here and like you i think it is very slowly getting bigger but i cant be sure.I dont understand why its there or why its never either gone or spread.I have put off seeing a doctor about this for some time but think i am going to have to get an appointment.Would appriciate any advice on this in the meantime though if anyone has any,

I called my dermatologist on Saturday and told
him about it. I remember I showed it to him last
year when it was smaller and he said it was quite
common in men.
I mentioned it was bigger now and he replied he could
use his laser to burn it off with some local anesthetic,
otherwise it shouldn't really cause any problems if I leave
it alone.
I also mailed this question to the-penis.com, and
they replied that fordyce spots on the scrotum
are quite normal in men, and the symptoms I described
sounded quite normal too.
Otherwise, it would be a good idea to have that appointment
with your dermatologist or urologist.

i looked at your picture and i have the same thing. Will it eventuallly go away on its own?

I searched it. I had one i think like yours, quite big. i had it for about 5 months and was really curious. I accedently noticed the smaller ones if you squeezed them, a small amout of a white/yellowy stuff comes out, in a curly shape, then mushes if pressed. I then realised the bigger one might just be the same thing, so i did the same thing and a lot of puss came out. It went in about 2 days after that. It has been about a year since that and everything seems normal. I still have the same small things. But theses are common and totally harmless.
I wouldn't advise you do what i did, but it might just be the case.

I have had the same problem, i have the smaller ones though. I couldn't help but squeeze them and i noticed that they pop like a zit! Quite interesting, but very disgusting. This is normal according to my doctor though; my doctor said not to squeeze them anymore.

This is the best thing to do. I showed mine to a doctor he gave me antibiotics, he said leave them alone.. and because i thought i knew best i squesed the bigger ones. Ever since that day no problem with them at all. all praise my nails! :)

I have the same thing, i am 14 years old. i thaught it was genetal warts but, i read wat yall said and i it is the same thing, i am relieved now. Will they go away???

i am also 14 i have about 3 little ones until a big one came up the little ones are yellowish but dont pop like a zit.. the big one does however and then turns really red.. i dont know what to tell my dad or anything please help...

I have been able to get rid of Fordyce Spots by using Jojoba oil on the affected areas after showering every day. Results take a week or two.

I had about 7 of these on my testicles and 3 were about the size of a pea, they were there for about 3 years and i tried squeezing them but nothing .. this year i got very self concious about them and was to embarresd to go to the doctors.. but i got a pin and pierced them .. and like a cottage cheese type substance come out of them .. really thick and p***y .. its was very painfull and discusting, but they have cleared up since and this was only last week .. i pierced the smallest one today and the same thing, im just glad they have gone now .. but it was horrible!

im 15 and have this problem, i tried squeezing the big one but it hurts and im easily grossed out so im abit reluctant to squeeze it anymore, alot of people are online are saying go to the doctor, but its really embarrasing :$ do they take a look or do you just tell them whats up, im just wanting them to go away on there own or by some medication without any lazor or my hands :'( :'(
