Posted: 09/24/06 - 01:51 Post subject: SHAVING VAGINA- 3 TOPICS. Vitamin E Oil, Irritation and butt |
|
|
Hi. Im 22 years old and about 10 minutes ago I decided to shave the inside of my vagina for the first time. I always shaved my bikini line, never had irritation. I trimmed the innner vagina, but never shaved.
I did as EVERYONE recommended.
Here are my 3 questions.
1) To prevent irritation I applied VITAMIN E OIL over shaved area.
Is this a correct method, or will it cause clogged pores?
What is used after shaving. Please be specific on cream brand, etc. Thanks.
2) How long till potential irritation? Its been an hour. No itching sensation.
Please give me your experienced irritation time.
3) I have alot of butt hair (inside not on my butt). How do I reach this area for shaving? Does all woman have inner butt hair, and if so- what do you do to trim them when its hard to even see them!??
(haha)
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I APPRECIATE ANY AND ALL RESPONSES. |

| When I shave my vagina I don't usually use any creams or anything and I don't irritate. I think it really depends on the persons' skin. |

Alright, my bf all of a sudden wanted me to start shaving my privates. I really dont kno why but i decided to do it thinkin ok this is an easy enough request. Well i cut the long hairs first and then shaved. I found hairs like everywhere! I was like dear god am i not normal?? I started freakin out. Like they were on my vagina and even in the butt area and since i cant see back there i can get them. I got as much as i could and in the process cut myself numerous times which hurt like crap. I thought everythin was fine and dandy until about 30 min. later it started gettin red with painful bumps. The next day it started itchin like mad! Now im on the 3rd day and its beginnin to grow back but it still hurts and itches. I want to make my bf happy, but i want to find a better way of doing it. Can anyone help me? |

| Its not right of him to ask you, and not do it himself too, in the first place, but if you want to make him happy, you might want to try waxing, because shaving does create bumps, irritation, and you can cut yourself, waxing would hurt, but you might want to try it at least once. |

In response to the first post..the answer is brazilian waxing to get rid of your butt hair and you can also wax your vagina as it was stated above, it'll hurt but at least it won't itch like hell, like it would if you shave it.
And another thing, when you wax the hair that is removed won't grow as intensely as it would when you shave.
Another plus is that actual waxing reduces also the time of growth, it lasts long As Curious88 was complaining about having red spots after 30min and after one day hair regrowth.
Hope this helps! |

Women need to be careful what they apply in their feminine regions. Very delicate flora situation there, etc.
Proper BABY WASH with a neutral pH, no tear formula seems to be safe to me for every day use as a lubricant for shaving.
Waxing is great, but it depends on how close your hair grows to the opening of your rear. Many aestheticians won't go there...
In which case you need to become comfortable with a razor.
Bend over, or lie back in a shallow bath. Begin with a mirror if you think you have to.
If a particular area is just not responding well to shaving, then go ahead and wax... but don't go to the cheap nail place that happens do to waxing unless you really trust these people. Had a gf in the UK who had skin taken off in that region due to over-zealous waxing. RIP. |

I shaved my bum once. I sat back in my computer chair with my legs up on the bed- used vit. E oil for lubricant instead of shaving cream, and a new razor. Oh and a Mirror for the hard to see spots. I went slow and used lots of oil- no cuts and no itching.
