Where the motto is “wellness, community, music, mischief”
Daybreaker can be summarized as a trip to the nightclub before work without the alcohol, but with all the fun, dancing, sweating, and calorie torching. That’s how you will start your day…dancing like a rock star. Dancing is only your main workout though because Daybreaker digs so much deeper. Here’s what your morning schedule looks like:
- Yoga – to stretch and get ready for the main event (aka - the dance party)
- Dance – you are club style dancing early in the morning before work #shakeyobootay
- Cool Down – an emerging artist from your area gives a motivating performance
- Goals – you set positive goals for your day before hitting the showers to head to work
- Added Bonus – the bar stocks free, healthy beverages
I don’t know about you, but there is no way I would be able to leave Daybreaker in a bad mood. What a way to start your day! To find out if there is a Daybreaker in your city, find the link to their website at the end of this article.

PHA (Peripheral Heart Action) Training
See ya HIIT, PHA, the new bodybuilding circuit training, just moved back in.
Could PHA replace HIIT as the new way to make gains, lose fat, and get your cardio in at the same time??? Let’s start off by clearing the air. This is not new. Studies in the 1940s showed PHA to be a very effective style of exercising. It’s now on the comeback.
How does it work?
You drive your body through an intense, timed series of weight lifting circuits that are specifically ordered. The purpose is to keep your blood circulating throughout your body for the whole workout. You start by targeting smaller central muscles. Get them working hard, and then you follow up by working the larger muscle groups like arms, legs and abdominals.
Will your muscles grow? Just ask Bob Gajda, a former Mr. Universe and one of only three men to ever defeated Schwarzenegger on the stage. Gajda lived by PHA and was outspoken about its awesomeness in the 60s.
Ask any bodybuilder, you must work out for the gains! If you are ready to get ripped, start PHA. If it doesn’t kill you, it will make you stronger.
You don’t need to look for a PHA gym. Your local gym has everything you need to create these workouts!
Conclusion
Every year the weather gets cold, but your body can remain haute. Don’t be afraid to try new fitness routines. Step outside of your comfort zone. These indoor workouts are just a few innovative ideas in the fitness industry this year. Google new gyms and studios in your area and surrounding towns. You never know what you might discover.
