Hi everyone!
Wendy, hello.. well I have not been able to try the VEGA yet.. man that stuff is expensive! But I've been doing Miralax, stool softners, senekot and still no BM for 2 days now.. I'm getting nervous...when I have a BM, its not just spotted blood, the whole toliet was bright red blood with clots all over... It really freaked me out! I just don't want to get another fissure thats all.... I don't eat much meat either! Never really have... and yes I don't have a lot of energy either.. that could be withdrawl from the percocets too? Who knows? I still feel some bumps down there and my husband said it looked like little hemorrhoids.. Could this be skin tags? Or is my tissue just still swollen from having 2 surgeries? I don't know? I don't look down there, I make my husband do it.. Ha ha... So do the skin tags hurt you? I'm just wondering if maybe this is what has formed? I won't know I guess until I go back to "IceMan" as Dawn calls him... LOL.. the doctor.. I'm really happy you are healing though... I know you've had some rough times as well...

As for my hubby's job.. We have not even packed a thing yet! I don't know how to move.. I'm so unorganized right now, have no energy and I can't lift much... I just have been going through all the kids clothes and making them try them on and if they fit, they go in the fit pile...LOL... So much to do, so little time... But we can come on the weekends and still move things...we are not going to sell our house right now anyways... My brother-n-law may end up staying here.... So thank you for all your prayers for us... Yep my little 5 year old is ready to turn 6! Sometimes she's 5 going on 10 and my 10 year old girl is going on 17 and my 8 year old "well he acts 8".. Ha ha.. He loves to play video games... don't get me wrong, the kid is very smart but he can play Gears of War 2 like no other... He plays with grown men and is better than them... Ha ha.. Don't worry, he does not put the speaker on his head... Men can say nasty words on there... I tried to play and I'm just awful... I told my son, if we were ever at war in battle, I'd stay right behind him, because I know he would save my life! Ha ha ha ha.. Lots of Hugs and Love

Dawn???? Where is my Dawn???? Are you and your family doing alright hon? I hope you are feeling ok? I want to thank you again for always being so sweet and funny and helpful to all of us! You are our best doctor ever!!!! And you are free... Ha ha... LOL XD If there is anything we can do to help cheer you up, you just let us know... My husband will get full time benefits (with insurance) when he starts the 2nd week of Sept. so I'm thinking maybe I should go see a 2nd opinion doctor? I really don't want to go back to IceMan anymore... I'm really done with him already and I know something is not normal down there, so what would it hurt to go see another rectal surgeon right? Someone who will listen to the patients concerns... instead of ignoring them...thinking we are stupid because we are not doctors... Well if my doc would of listened to me in the first place it could of saved him and myself a lot of time and pain but he did not listen! He barely examines me and always is in a freakin hurry... Its so rediculous! Never met anyone like that in my life.... There is a thing now that is called "Angie's List" and I guess people are wanting to tell their experiences and such with certain doctors, surgeons, etc. and the doctor's are trying to fight it!!! Listen, we may be patients and not doctors but we know our bodies, we know how we are treated in the doctor's office, before surgery, and after surgery and how we are treated post op, so we should have a right to voice our opinions on how we feel we were treated.... Afterall, we are the one's who pays those doctors salaries am I right? Ok, I feel better now.. LOL ;-) Lots of Hugs and Love

DR... I'm glad you went to go visit your friend.. I hope everything is going well for you!!! Have you been bike riding with Dawn? Ha ha.. she is so funny... XD Ewwwhhh to just think about sitting on bike seat makes me want to cry... OUCH :'( Since you are a male, while dont you come and help me move? You don't seem to have any butt problems, so you should be good... Ha ha.. :-D I'll put you right to work!!!! Well I will let you all go for now.. thank you for keeping me updated.. I will keep writing to all of you and keep you posted on everything!! Hugs to you.. ;-)

Hi hon! I don't know about the rest of the 4 amigos, but I think you sound WAY more positive!!! :-D Which is great to hear!

My head is ALMOST healed all up, just hurts thats all! I sit down I hurt I stand I hurt! It's JUST GREAT!!!! ;-) XD XD No biggy!!! EXCEPT for what I'm sitting on!!!! LOL

Isn't it funny that just the thought about bike riding can bring grown women to their knees!!!!!? It's like I love the show The Baby Story! But when they are in labour - GOOD NIGHT!!!! I really wanted to be a Doula!! And help women when they are in childbirth! Now you all have had a taste of my sense of humour - Can you even imagine how much help I would be in the delivery room!!!? When I get nervous or upset I start LAUGHING!! Like not just tittering, and ALL out gut laugh! So I can just imagine HOWLING with laughter while telling them to push! My God Daughter is due anyday with her 3rd daughter. I'm heading to her house tommorrow, and I would LOVE to be in the room with her! But I just didn't want to be the centre of attention, and them having to call in a crash team because I CRASHED to the floor! - LAUGHING!!!! So we'll see!

Yeah I know Vega is expensive - BUT think of my commission ;-) ;-) XD - And your hair will be so healthy and shiny, when you can't afford the electricity bill the moon can light your room by it's rays bouncing off your beautiful radiant locks!!!! LOL XD XD ;-)

Do you like licorice? Dutch licorice is the BEST for "Moving things along!" And also do those exercises I told you about before, and the "technique" I know I sound like a dirty old man! But honest honey it works!!!!!!

When I moved I did a spreadsheet for the rooms in the house! And labelled each box with A1, B2, C13 etc. Each room was a letter and each number was the area! So whomever is moving you can look towards the map and then put that box in that area! Also if you attach another spreadsheet to show what is in each box, then you will know at all times where so and so is!

Your husband must REALLY love you!!!! o.O :$ That's a vow for the 21st century isn't it? LOL "I will love you and cherish you and KNOW every inch of your body!!" "I will asess your anus daily and decide wether your anus contains tags or hemis" o.O ;-) XD Grab a mirror woman!!!!!! LOL

Lisa! So good to hear your positive attitude with such FRENZY going on around you! Dawn's ideas for labeling the boxes is great. If I ever move, I think I'll use that technique! Can I put my two cents in? OK, so if your going to be living with your mom first, she will have all the basic necessities. I would personally consider trying to pack only the basics, which will be more than you will probably have for strength as it is. Maybe you can picture what you'd take on vacation, then school clothes for the kids, the toys they CAN'T live without, and what you already have for school supplies. Also, I would pack all important papers that you need to keep safe. That already made me tired just writing it! If you're comming back on the weekends, you can pick up any other neccessaries, especially since you have family living there.

Bleeding that much into the toilet would tell me either something's still not right or you're still in a fragile recovery period. My skin tags are no longer swollen, so to me at least, they feel much softer than the hemorrhoids did. They WERE swollen like little balloon's and looked alot like hemis, only they were kind of pointed like upside icecream cones. (TMI, BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW ELSE TO DESCRIBE! SORRY DR. RED!). Now, they've deflated and are no longer cone shaped. They don't hang or anything, their just kind of their and are a nuisence. They are bothersome because of personal hygeine issues :$ :$ :$ !

Dawn, sorry you're hurting dear! I think you'd be FUN to have in the delivery room (At least I'd think it was fun to watch on a reality show)!
So what do you think about percs withdrawel causing fatigue?

Dr. Red, how are you doing?

Hugs, Wendy

Oh totally fatigue is from the withdrawls! Also our bodies can only take so much upheavel! So they need DOWN time, so because you've had a long recovery and your body is ALWAYS on high alert, from the pain, now that you are healing, it's like the body is exhaling! Just think of it that way! You've been working like an insane person all year, and now you are on vacation! And you just want to lay on the beach and not do anything! Same thing!!! Percs give you a pep! Or like I used to say "A kick in my step!!! XD " So going off them, your body/mind is like "where's my little funtime buddies!!? :-( %-) :-( " I always like to speak of things in everyday terms, this way we can all get it, right?! Good idea about the necesseties by the way!

Hi everybody,
No Lisa, I haven't ride bicycle with Dawn but maybe we can plane something for the future. :-)
Well it seams to me that you have a lot of time before you really need to pack, so organize things slowly and try to plane everything.
Do not worry to much, it will not help you at all. Just stay calm as much as you can.

I wish you all the best.

Lol, my husband LOVES riding bikes.

So this week was hard! 8-|
Teusday my 16yr old had her tonsils out. On the way to the hospital, my oldest (step) daughter, who lives in another state, calls and says she just got out of the hospital because she had such a bad asthma attack. Wednesday, my mother in law calls from the hospital because she's in there for the same thing (she lives in this state). My father in law's sister calls and says my father in law is too weak from a recent stroke to take care of his long time girl friend, whom can't take care of herself and needs my husband to come help move them out of their house and into hers. They live in another state. My husbands said he would go this weekend, but his back his hurting so bad, a ligament is pulling clear down to his foot and swelling his foot. He didn't tell them that though, he just said yes.
Thursday, my daughter who just had her tonsils out, starts spewing BLOOD all over the place. o.O and I have to rush her to the ER to have a blood vessel cauterized. They said it may only be a temporary hold so watch her!
Friday nothing happened, THank You Lord!
Today we picked up my son to go with my husband to move his dad(in another state) and as my husband went to move my motorcycle, he almost dropped it (it's a 750, so heavy) and twisted his ankle and tweeked his already strained back even more. 8-|
So I sent ice packs, icyhot, ibuprophen and thank goodness my son whom has a strong back is going with.
THere gone now, daughter sleeping, house is quiet and now I can go sit on the.............

WHEW, what a week! :O Thank you, my friends, for listening to my drama. :-) Now you know why I don't bother with reality TV! ;-)
Hugs, Wendy :-D

o.O Do you think people would pay to watch and listen to us?!! I mean REALLY! We couldn't make these things up could we? If you were watching our lives on the big screen people would be like "NO WAY!!!!" But yet they watch Sex In The City! (Yeah that's realistic!) I think we should have not only a support group but our own 24 hour cameras on us!

I would be the STAR - of course ;-) - They could show me from the chin up! and being attacked by different animals! XD

Wendy, you could be held up! and ALL those other terrible things that have happened to you! You would be the one walking out of a building and within seconds the building explodes and you don't flinch - because you've been through it all!!! ;-)

Lisa - you could be the one with the husband that in every shot is looking at your bottom!!! XD XD XD ;-) ;-)

DR! You could just be like Charlie - on the Charlies Angels - I'm Farrah!!!!!!!, and we don't see you, youre voice is on the intercom saying "oh you girls! What are we going to do with you!" "Do you want to go biking!!!?" LOL XD XD ;-)

And at the end of every episode it will show all 3 of us in our house coats, popping pills and trying to push out hard ones!!!!!!! LOL XD XD o.O o.O I think we will have a rating HIT!!!!

And of course the name of the show is "WHAT?" That's right "The Crack of Dawn House Club Wives" Does any of you have the number for FOX headquarters - I think they would be the only ones that would air that!!!! ;-) ;-) XD

Have a good day ladies, start rehearsing your lines!!! Or tags!!! ;-) XD o.O :-D

That sounds great, Dawn, how much money do you think we'd make! ;-)
Now, if I could only get off the couch to get to the audition! I'm like this /\__ 8-| ALL the time lately! Now my daughters on the percs and she's like, "hey mom, I can bring those dishes down stairs, no problem!" and I'm like "Go ahead, I'm going to bed!" :-P She said the percs make her bipolar as in sometimes she sleeps and other times she's energized. Tomorrow I'm going to be switching her between straight oxycodone and tylonol to start weening her off of it. Poor thing, that had to hurt when they cauterized that blood vessel in the same place she just had surgery only two days before.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could take besides caffeine to get my energy back? I literally layed on the couch for five hours straight today and if I got up, I would get dizzy. I've been drinking the vegenique, which is making me regular, but still NO energy.

Suggestions?

Hugs, Wendy

Hi Wendy! Now I'm back to my "Supporter" role!

Caffeine is NOT a good energizer! Water is actually good, you can get water with different minerals in them! The following are minerals that give you energy and a boost! They are Iron, B12, Folic Acid, Magnesium! Spinach is EXCELLENT for iron, but to absorb iron you need to take Vitamin C! Actually anything with any of the B vitamins is great - such as cereal!, Below is a list of different vitamins and minerals and where they are found!

Lots of water, or club soda = to change it up a bit - also contains salts!

Hi Bambi, thanks hun. I went to GNC and bought liquid B-complex and was able to get a nice walk in before I ran out of energy.

Hugs, Wendy

PS. I really don't want to go through another surgery for the skin tags! But my stools are like pencil size! Will mashed potatoes maybe bulk it up or is it the tags making them small I wonder?
Reply
Are the tags engorged? After everything you've been through, if they are the tags I'm thinking of, don't worry about them, just keep doing what you are doing! The only time they will become a problem if there is more pressure down there - such as bearing down or hard stools and being compact! You need time to TOTALLY heal and recover, and then IF the tags are bothersome you can get them "roped off" where they tie them - which isn't as painful as cutting them off! If you are having a hard time seeing them you can always ask Lisas husband!!!! ;-) XD Sorry I just HAD too!!

So you are having runny stools? If you are still taking Senocet or any other natural stool softener, then cut back a bit on them! Also if you take Iron that will help bung you up = BUT then there could be a problem with that!! Its like a Catch 22, if you are having runny stools that will takes its tole on your electrolytes - thus the tiredness! Yet if you get your stools hard, you could create BIG problems in the anal area again. So while your body is adjusting to no Percs etc, then I would say take water - with salt in it - not taken out! Just use regular tap water! You can also get the vitamin waters! Caffeine will make you runny too!! Water will just help things be natural! And also help get any remaining percs out of your system! They build up in your liver!! So just be careful of that too! Do you have any itchiness? Because sometimes coming off Percs can make your body itch! So just watch out for that! I think you are safe though, as you weren't on them for a long time! It is good to get out and have a little bit of exercise and fresh air each day, but don't overdo it! Your body has been through a lot and needs some help in recuperating all that it has lost and had to come to grips with!!!

The liquid is better than the pills, as pills can have a hard time on your senisitive stomach! Just know that your urine WILL be dark yellow!!

Wow that would be some TV show. I think we could make at least 3 seasons. Maybe 4 :-). I like my part, to be honest. Thanks for that bambi. :-)

Wendy what a story... so many things in few days. Be strong and fight as much as you can. How is your daughter now?
Well the best thing to get back your energy is to have a good and long sleep. That always works for me. Some times I remember when I sleep only 3 hours a day for a few days, nothing can give me back my energy, and eventually I just need a good 12h sleep to get back in life. :-)

Yeah, I agree with what Bambi said. If it's tags, I think those can definitely wait until you've recovered from your surgery. It can be a pain to worry about anything other than recovery right now. My poor friend is getting over this surgery right now and he's having tag issues too. Fortunately, he's been laid up and I'm taking care of him so he's doing okay...
