Oh no!! Just be careful, the sun ages you and the cancer risk too!! Just seen some stuff advertised on tv tonight for sunburn, calomine lotion is good, I remember getting sunburn when I was about 12, it was actually prickly heat, it was awful. Anyway, apart from the sunburn hope you are alright, im getting my hair cut on Saturday, ive been good this last week and not head picked so have no scabs at present, im trying so hard to break the habit as I have a good head of hair really and it would be a shame to loose it. Just looking forward to the weekend now and deciding what to do.

I TOTALLY FEEL YOU ALL

I've been doing this for at least 4 years now but I don't necessarily scratch. I kind of just keep ruffling my hair watching it all fall down. I try not to scratch cause i know that that creates more dandruff. I think I just naturally have a dry scalp cause I also have dry skin :( I used to like press my fingers on my scalp to kind of get the dead skin to stick to it so I could get it off my head without creating more (or at least that's what I thought I was doing) its so bad I can't stop. Its such an unconscious thing, I do it all the time while I"m studying (looking down at my textbook while watching flakes pile up onto my book) and on the computer just touching my head... Its seriously so bad but it replaced my other compulsion of pulling my short kinky hairs out of my head -.- Does anyone have any tips for literally GETTING RID of this addiction? My best friend and boyfriend and parents totally notice and its really embarrassing!

Its just this addiction to trying not to have any flakes on my head but at the same time not trying to create any more -.- HELP

Hey, It's AnonaMOUSE :D

Hey Craig, Spains great, my arms are peeling a bit and I'm still Lily white, but I had a horrible night last night. :(

There was a massive storm, (at least it felt like it) round about midnight, and it was keeping me up.

After a while it made the fuse go out, and it was pitch black. I'm still slightly afraid of the dark XD so it was really bad since I'm superstitious.

The superstitious bit I'll explain.

I now hate having mirrors in my room because of you know who, I can't even write/say her name.

So the lights are out, the door and bed are creaking, and I have a mirror in my room. Thankfully, round 4:00 - 5:00 am, my gran came in to see if I was ok :D

And she managed to get the fuse back on so it wasn't dark anymore, and the storm had finally passed.

C: So now, I hate storms at night :D

P.s I'm 12 if you didn't know, but I'm quite mature for my age (at times) :)

Hey, It's AnonaMOUSE!!

Hmm, Idk what I could suggest, maybe try using listerine mouthwash (people on this site have said it helps rid of dandruff).

Or just wear a hat so you can't do it?

Whatever works for you!

Hope I helped :)

I was wondering if the Virgin hair fertilizer works for my hair? I'm white and I have thick wavy hair, the only bad part is my dandruff. This stuff sounds like a miracle and I was wondering if it would work on my hair. Could it damage it or change the texture? Thank you

Hi Anonamouse, hows the dandruff problem going with the hot weather? I was head scab free until Friday but I just had to search my head for imperfections, I found a ridge and got my finger nail behind it and picked a large piece of skin with a hair follicle stuck through it, my scalp bled a little, I left it to dry and after a good 6 hours a good dried bloody scab had formed, I managed to pick this off with my fingernail, got to say you cant beat the feeling when I was looking at it. Oh, I checked out the utube - my weird addiction. I watched the one about the guy who had a sexual relationship with his car, that was weird. Just wonder if that was true? Also watched the woman who was addicted to breast implants, they were just too big, I think the perfect size is 34C, but they were just cartoon like!!

Hey Craig :D

Justa mention I don't have a dandruff problem, I just pick at my head... ALOT.

It's because I got a nit problem, I got rid of them and I kept itching at my head and gradually picking.

But yeah the addictions are wierd :o

They're true because it said you can report an addiction to them :3

Hi Georgia, so you are a fellow scalp picker then?! I tend to pick when stressed at work and recently just relaxing watching tv, I can go a good while with no picking then start again. The worse thing is at the hairdressers, if I have just the slightest ridge or cut from picking and my hairdressers comb finds it, that scab can be ripped right off, This happens mostly at the start of my haircut when she back combs to find the length to cut my hair, I do have my hair quite short. The pain when she cuts off a scab can be quite intense and the last time it happened my head jerked back as the comb caught it on the sweep back. I am quite happy to pick and remove a scab myself but when its done suddenly that is not good. As for dandruff, ive got it under control by using Listerine mouthwash followed by Dove conditioner, as my hair is dark I don't want dandruff or much of it on show, I do have a bit from time to time but only visible if I shake my hair, try doing the dandruff shower thing in a dark room and take a photo of the snowfall, makes some very interesting ghostly orbs!!

Hey Craig!!

XD I just said that I DON'T have dandruff.

I just pick at my scalp. I've got a painfully scab on my head which I'm trying to let heal more so it doesn't hurt when I comb my hair.

I'm picking it now x3
