Its hard not to pick isn't it? as I said before I tend to do it more when stressed but recently started picking when watching tv. To stop picking at my scalp is easier said than done. Ive got a good head of hair and don't want my hair falling out!
We should start a support group, maybe on Facebook.
:3 If we did that people would think we're weirdos :P
And Btw, I'm back in lovely England, with all it's rain and glory...

Welcome back to lovely England! Thunder storms here in Bradford today. Hope you had a good holiday and didn't get sun burn again!! lol. Regarding the " I pick my head scabs" Facebook page, there would be only a handful of people on it! Also I wouldn't want other people who are friends on Facebook knowing I pick at my scalp.
Welcome to the forum Ehthoo! Do you have any head scabs from picking?
Hey Craig, It was a great holiday, and luckily and didn't get sunburn again! Learnt my lesson there!!

Hey Georgia, glad you had a good holiday, ive got week of work this week, just been out driving in the dales and going for walks while there. Im head scab free for last 2 weeks now, although I do tend to search for ridges etc to pick but im stopping myself and I am pretty much dandruff free due to washing my hair with Listerine followed by Dove conditioner. Really have to get rid of the problem or im going to be single the rest of my life. lol
Aw Don't say that D:
When you find true live, it will be with someone who loves you for you c:
Also I've not been head picking which is good! I've only been picking at a scab on my face..

Hey Georgia!
That's good that you haven't been head picking, ive not picked either. Things not that bad on the love front, ex been in touch but im wary as think she is only after one thing but have had other offers of dates so that's a good thing, to be honest Im just happy doing my own thing, going out when I want with friends and having more time for my hobbies.
Omg can't believe the number of people that do this !! It's a relief to know I'm not alone. I've been doing it since I was about 7, I had head lice and I remember scratching and seeing all the dandruff fall out and have been doing it since ( I'm 31 now ). I don't have dry scalp or anything so sometimes I really hurt my head scratching it until it bleeds just to try loosen up some dandruff
Hi Lauren and welcome to this site, are you in England??
Regards Craig
All quiet on on the dandruff or head scab posts?
Just had my hair cut today by a trainee hairdresser who has never cut my hair before, this morning i had 2 healed up head scabs but i could feel they were raised. Well she managed to slice the top off 1 of them with the sissors, the pain was awful, also it bled, she got a tissue to dab it, it did stop bleeding so she continued uneventful until she reched for some hair spray, well ive never felt stinging like it!!
Well i washed my hair when i got home and the scab has clotted, so im going to gently pick it off.
Oh my friggin goodness, seriously am I dreaming right now? I'm a 25-year-old woman who thought I was the only one who did this. And I say 'did' this cuz I'm trying not to do it now. It's a strange, scary habbit. And I find it scary because I enjoy even the thought of itching my head and looking for dandruff. Does anybody know what deep issue it's linked to? I mean let's face it this isn't normal. Sometimes I wonder if I belong in a mental-institute.
