The dandruff is a fungus. Go to the drugstore and ask for special shampoo (nitrozol? Don't remember well)
Or go to a doctor for prescription for even stronger one. Head&shoulder doesn't need help much.
Ive found out that 5 or 6 drops of Obas oil ( the stuff for colds etc) and a few drops of tea tre oil in warm water clears dandruff for just over a week and had drasticly reduced the flakes that do come back, be aware if you have head scab as it can sting. Ive also found out the Obas oil applied neat to my piles when they flare up does the trick quickly, better than any cream for piles, last year I had a case of nits and I turned to Obas oil ( that's how I found out it had benefits for dandruff) The Obas oil was applied at night before I went to bed ( I dried my hair afterwards) The next morning on my pillow were loads of dead nits/eggs, ivre also tried Obas oil on flea bites and it works, it seems to bring the sting out, all was left of the bite was a crusty yellow coating after just 30 mins on my skin.
Head and shoulders actually gathers all the flakes down at your scalp, it works for some people but after a while it will accumulate too mich dandruft at your scalp and you will have to wash all that off your scalp.
i hav the same prob i love to scracth of the dandruff
my dad who is 63 has loads, more than me. I am 39 and even at my age I cant help but go through his hair, he doesn't hardly wash his hair so the dandruff has a smell to it ( might be is hair in general though) I like using a pen to search through and flick the best ones away from his scalp, his crown is a fest for dandruff flakes. pure bliss!
I'm so glad I'm not alone. I'm only 13 years old and as soon as I started noticing the flakes on my phone screen when I was scratching my head, I immediately got worried. I couldn't figure out what was wrong until I came upon this. And I too, would scratch my head and check it in the mirror each day, and watch the flakes fall down or onto my screen.
don't worry about dandruff, as I write this my laptop is covered in flakes, some of it has been on weeks and has dried on. (my hair gel makes for sticky dandruff flakes) update on my dads dandruff, he hasn't washed his hair for a good 5 or 6 weeks, it has thousands of flakes in his hair and some are quite large, his hair has a greasy oily smell.
Me too. Been doing this for decades. I grew a beard and it now is a source of flakes as well. So gross but obsessed with scratching head and beard and watch the flakes gather. Never thought there were so many others!
i like to look at the flakes on my head and take my laptop and scratch my head over the light and look at what they look lie
try taking a photo of your falling dandruff ( snow shower) in a dark room, the flash of the camera makes some well spooky orbs, if a hair strand is caught on camera falling this looks spooky too. try it!! Dandruff is amazing! we should start a facebook group!
I scratch my head with clips and things, and eat the skin! :( i only do it when im tired,so i go to bed early.
So glad to know I'm not alone! All my friends think it's so weird when I just sit there and make piles. I just wish there was a way to stop it!
I am so surprised and a little bit releaved to find out I'm not the only one doing this! I am addicted to shaking dandruff out of my hair onto a surface especially black surfaces! Sometimes I scratch my head and then look to see how much is in my nail then pick it out with my teeth.
Try taking a photo of the falling dandruff in a dark room, the flash creates awesome orbs!!
I cant believe that you people are happy about having this problem. Well, i have been doing this for more then 10 years and i am getting really embaressed about it and searching for a solution to end this. I need to keep my scalp healthy without bleeding.
