Spell check on tablet performance and magnifiers needed for my above post. Gall bladder is needed or the good Lord would not have put it in you or for the evolutionist theory ...you know the development of a gallbladder was necessary in the evolutionary chain. Modern science has blamed cholesterol for years on heart issue, when it is a inflammatory condition. Lots of money in cholesterol lowering drugs. I was very involved in cardiac monitoring diagnostics... Drugs can be a bandaid, but do they solve the core issue?
Autoimmune diseases are on the rise, why because what goes into your body the body must deal with it, and stress makes us weaker. Deal with natural stress reduction. Ortho Molecular bio balance has been effective with body and mental health issues. Your brain is then managed by your organs and gut health. However we must also all safe guard our food supplies , the poor practice of food processing and possibly GMO or pesticides also. Our soils are low in trace minerals. Our toxic chemical dumping all over the U.S. Finds its way to ground water.
The body fights the invaders, the balance of biotic gut health is disrupted and causes an inflammatory response. Grow a garden treat your soil with respect and supplement minerals into your soil naturally, fish heads, Epsom salt, as needed but don't use the pesticides look for old fashion natural products. You may love your new life and new healthy body if you take the time teach your kids how to garden as their future is even bleaker with dietary and gut health needs.

No ur not alone. I had mine removed 3 years ago. And I'm the same. It can strike at anytime. I'm always running to the loo. I also experience allot of trapped wind if I eat fatty foods. But to be honest all of this is better than the awful pain before the operation

You can gain weight as you won't get a gallstone attack after overeating and this no deterrent to eating fatty food

I had this same problem with my surgery 20 years ago, a stone in the bile duct, a big incision, and twenty years later still diarrhea, and weight gain. Thought I was the only one.

I am going through the EXACT same thing since having mine removed. I have put on 30lbs and eat clean and do HIIT workouts 5-6 days a week and can NOT lose a single pound. I am miserable as well and very very frustrated. I can't fit in any of my clothes anymore. I could scream!!

Got my Gall bladder remove about 18 months ago. All the typical symptoms, however I found something that seems to help with the endless brown waterfall problem. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on whole wheat bread with a glass of milk (this really only works if you can eat wheat, milk, and peanuts). after eating this for 2 days and not needing to have an urgent bathroom break almost immediately afterward, I actually thought something was wrong when I had a completely normal bowel movement. I know 2 other people that have had their gall bladder removed that have tried this and they said it improved their quality of life by a great deal. I switched to eating a PB&J sandwich for breakfast and it would stabilize my digestive tract for the rest of the day. If I go off this diet for a day or two things go back to the usual miserable cramping urgency. If anyone else can follow this diet and see similar results please comment, likewise if it is just a fluke, do so as well.

That sounds awful. I hope she sues for malpractice. Scars can be covered with tattoos and be made beautiful. Just one option! Some find they can fade with sun also.
Counseling might help her work through the trauma.
Good luck to you both.

I had my gb removed about 6 was now, before surgery I gained about 15 lbs and I have lost every pound I gained and more, unfortunately I can't have fatty foods at all. All I eat is oatmeal, cream of wheat, grilled chicken with out the skin, lentil beans and steam vegetables and fresh fruits. Saltines crackers soothes my tummy. I can't drink coffee like I used to do and any kind of milk taste bad. Even when I can't eat fatty meals I still have severe cramps and diarrhea. I tried cuoplevtuned to eat meat but the pain was too much to handle so I stayed away from fatty foods. I have days that my body feels restless and I just want to sleep maybe my body is too weak, and some other days I feel great. I just wish I can have my normal eating habit back. God bless and heal all of us with our health.

I had my gallbladder removed 5 weeks ago. 2 days after surgery I was hospitalized for 1 week. They were trying to fix a leak in abdomen caused by surgery. I had a biliary drain bag for a little over a month. It has been a nightmare. I am in pain quite a bit and cannot stand the sight of most foods. Nor can i bear the smell of fried food this is a mess
