My girlfriend and i have been having anal sex for a while now and i have never used a condom. we both are clean and have never had any problems from it. we always wash up right after it. Lately she has been reading stuff online about all these nasty diseases and stuff you can get from it and wants me to use a condom. I just want to know if you can get anything if u have no stds, or if theres risk of infections or anything like that. Just so i can know what she is thinking will happen, cause for some reason she never explains her thinking on the subject. Thanks
If neither of you have STDs then you don't have to worry about STDs. If both of you are clean in every way, then you don't have to worry about anything else. The biggest worry with anal sex between two "clean" partners is the possibility of bacteria getting into the vagina. That can happen wether you wear a condom or not because whatever is on you is on the condom. Be carefull to make sure you don't get anything on or especially in her vagina while having anal. That includes tongue, finger, toy and of course penis. Once it has touched the anus, it shouldn't go anywhere else until it has been cleaned. If you use a lot of lube, be carefull how it spreads around and runs. Such as, if she is on her knees and you are getting her from behind, the lube can run down over her vagina and "could" cause a problem. Be carefull and have fun.

I would use a condom, you can get bacteria from her anus inside the hole of the penis. Not to sound gross or anything but some of her poop may get on your penis if you haven't encountered this yet. Not to mention, if she has any sort of parasites from something she ate they would come out in her poop and then onto your penis.

Intestinal bacteriae could cause prostatitis, which in turn could lead to inferility. Just a risk, not a certainty.

the biggest risk is probably of you contracting a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection). also if you're not careful pregnancy is still possible as semen can leak across the perineum to the vagina, though it is highly unlikely. as long as you're clean and careful there isn't really anything unsafe about it.

as a girl cant get pregnant from anal intercourse , its obvoius its the wrong hole.
I`ve seen turned on animals make that mistake sometimes.

I think the vagina is the rightplace
seems to fit better , its properly designed for sex.

cant figure out why anyone isnt happy with normal vaginal sex, and wants to stick it up the wrong hole!

whitbyhill, see immediately above. it is possible for pregnancy to occur. it's a remote chance but it's still there and it does happen.

what happens between two consenting, legal age people is not really our concern. if they enjoy it and it's safe, who cares?

The anal opening leads to the rectum (the storage area for feces prior to defecation), which is one segment of the large intestine. The large intestine is an organ that is part of the exclusive and fully-enclosed gastrointestinal (GI) tract, which is open at a person's lips, ending at the anal opening. More importantly, regarding your question, the GI system is not directly connected with the reproductive tract; therefore, sperm entering the anus cannot swim through the GI tract to reach the egg in the reproductive tract. Similarly, sperm entering the mouth cannot cause pregnancy.

The only way a woman might possibly become pregnant from anal play is if ejaculated semen is near the opening of the vagina and that semen happens to work its way deep into the vaginal opening. Otherwise, there is no chance of conception with anal sex.

hence my observation

You can have anal sex with your sex partner, but just to be extra safe be sure to wear a condom. There is a small chance for her to get pregnant.

My partner had his colon removed. Is it safe to have anal sex even though there is no colon? What could happen?
